Yep, Stage 1 is definitely not bad. But the difficulty ramps up fast. I have to use a continue by Stage 3 (PS2 version). As someone who enjoys both Touhou and the Dodonpachi games, I can say that anyone who considers Touhou harder hasn't played this game.

Considering that in the last 15 years, not a single Cave shooter has ever been released for a non-arcade system outside of Japan, I'm afraid I have to disagree with your statement there. There is no chance this game will ever get localized for North America.

Information seems to be scarce for this title Can anybody tell me how different this is from Dodonpachi Dai Ou Jou on the PS2. Will it be worth picking up if you have that title (and love shooters)?

If you think that this game is easy then play it, this game is way harder than any of the Touhou games. Even on Easy this game is way too difficult.

Touhou is better. This game looks too easy for me.
