that’s true and I use this module for this purpose most of the time

It's really puzzling what's possible to obtain as quirky groove from this module that I've never been interested in before. At times I feel I'm back in old Black Dice vibes. Great thanks for the discovery and great review, I really appreciate 😉

It’s also great when in audio range 👍 The magic happens when you get good in adjusting the 3rd and 4th knob of each row

I feel, and this might sound contradictory, the more modules you have the more you appreciate the ones that are a little bit bigger. In a dense patch they are much easier to navigate. In the end it's the power-supplies that are the most expensive, not the wood or even the rails, so there's no reason to cram 100 modules in 84HP as a big module doesn't necessarily drain more power.

I totally agree 👍 I’ve always liked bigger modules and modules where the jacks are all on the top or bottom as this makes ergonomics so much better. Even 8hp modules with the jacks all over the front-plate are hard to navigate when there’s a lot of patching going on. I would say blanking panels are your best friend in that situation, I might do an episode on those 😅

Totally agree. As I grow my system to its size now, I don't mind adding in a 28 hp module. As long as it earns its space

Thank you for this video. I’ve been into modular for 12 years and have had lots of Doepfer modules. Due to its size and not understanding it’s possibilities it’s been under my radar. Until now that is - I just picked it up after watching your video a few weeks ago. What is the filter that you use at the start of the video?

Maybe I missed it, but I can not make it work as simple independent 4 ADSR
@Detroit-Berlin
@Detroit-Berlin 4 ай бұрын
make sure the switches are in AD mode, trigger each channel individually, use each output individually and it should work. It’s not an ADSR but only Attack and Decay
@Detroit-Berlin
@Detroit-Berlin 4 ай бұрын
also note that when nothing is inserted in the trig inputs then the trig output of previous envelope is normalised to the trig input of that channel
