Those articles weren't really helpful on finding the other fires that happened with BYD cars, so if you can point me in the right direction that would be cool.

By the way, BYD EVs and PHEVs have vehicle to load (V2L) feature so you can use the huge car battery to run electrical appliances on road / camping trips or to back up essential appliances such as the fridge / freezer during a power outage. In case of the PHEV, you can use the car engine as a back up generator for your home. No need for a Tesla Power Wall or a separate home backup generator.

I live in South Africa where we’ve had a number of Chinese automakers with the most profiling being GWM and their Haval and P-Series pick-up ranges. There’s mixed responses with mostly negatives associated with the Chinese brands. Yes they have a lot of tech in some models and come fully speced out but they have issues

I rented and drove a BYD Atto 3 in Germany for a week and can honestly say it was a better overall driving experience than any other EV I've ever driven
