A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.

@@TheGlitterMovement I've always wanted this type of Acoustic-Electric Guitar because it's just as easy to play as an Acoustic Guitar. These ones are made in a way so that they have good tone because alot of Thin Bodied Acoustic-Electric Guitars sound like toys.

I have one and absolutely love it! It adapts to whatever mood I am in. Most haters have never tried it but get upset that it’s on the expensive side. I have spent so much time with it, I feel it’s money very well spent. Also, I don’t have the space to keep many guitars around. So; try it out yourself if you’re curious. It’s a really well made music instrument that can bring you tons of joy.

great run through Sean, thank you........ I play mainly acoustic, only bedroom stuff nothing fancy, but I've also started to learn electric guitar with the hope of playing in a band eventually and doing some gigs.... so to the reason I love this guitar and it fits with my life - I travel for work every week, staying in hotels and generally living a 'lonely week life' I missed having my guitars with me and so I would either take a Taylor GS Mini or a cheap electric like my Burns Steer, so when this baby came out I immediately knew I was having one.. it fits my needs perfectly and sounds amazing through my amps, both acoustic & electric as well as mini-portable. it goes with me everywhere and allows me to continue playing, working on my shapes & practising both acoustically & electric - absolutely perfect, for me..... BTW I did buy a Taylor T5, but it just didn't sound right to my ear because its more electric leaning rather than acoustic, so I sold it :)

The Godin A6 Ultra which has been around for many years is an acoustic solid top with a fishman acoustic pickup system and a humbucker at the neck. You can mix and match the two pickups or send each to its own amp. Cheers.

My Ovation Viper (maple body, burled maple top) has similar performance opportunities. Acoustic strings feed through the body, semi-hollow body electric with Eq. Never would have thought it would become my most treasured instrument (have a LP, Strat, Tele)

That guitar is for a guy like me, someone who primarily plays acoustic but does looping and sometimes wants an electric sound. I also drum on my acoustic, so that body sensor is a big plus.

Really fascinated with the sound modeling tech. I think I’d be able to use it as always being plugged in for recording. Just slightly bummed about the electric side of things. But Fender is not to blame for not making a perfect 50/50 instrument capable of nailing both the electric/acoustic worlds. Thanks for sharing you thoughts and the sound demo Sean, it was much appreciated!

Played one at Summer Namm. If they weren't so expensive I'd have one. Great for acoustic sounds with a full band or for variety on a normal acoustic gig. They play and feel fantastic.

After hearing multiple reviews on both, I think I'm liking the Tele tones over the Strat... or just what they put in them? I just wonder why they didn't just make them changeable? Hope there are some used ones available soon. 8) --gary

It kinda sounded like the A B knob is a gradual blend. Like you could do 20%-80%. 50%-50%. Or even 10%-90%. Is that the case? Or is it like a 3 way switch? A, B or 50%-50%?

great video, and a very nice rundown of various alternative milks! Cashew milk is bomb. Coconut is number one for me, but i agree that it doesn't work for everything. I still have to try that macadamia nut milk. I agree, soy is bottom tear milk. Chocolate almond is great, regular almond can kick rocks, though, it has done me well. Chocolate hazelnut milk is top tier dessert beverage on all accounts, and is akin to drinking the ambrosia of the gods, resembling liquid nutella. rice milk deserves on honorable mention, for its uses in baking. Pea protein milk is really good and creamy. Hemp milk is another really good one that I've wanted to experiment with more recently to really hit that hipster itch. loving the content lately!

Sean, a couple simple mod's on that Acoustasonic (see 'net), and that guitar can be super great.... also, put a capo on 1 or 2 and try it again. .... Crossbow (Florida)

...small sound hole accentuates bass sound...that's why the capo...half- or whole step up scale (fret 1 or 2).... Crossbow

What type of string is supposed to be used in Acoustasonic Strat ? Electric string or acoustic string?

Acoustic strings sound best. Electrics will ‘work’ though.

I always thought the acoustasonic sounded great in demos. And when I finally got a chance to play one in a store I loved it. I always thought it would be perfect for someone like Andres. A solo live looper that needs to be able to effortlessly switch between acoustic and electric. Although, I also thought it would be useful for someone like you that does a lot of solo (with a singer) shows where you always play through amplification. And FWIW, I actually think it’s pretty.

It's a fantastic Guitar. It's a bit easier to hold than a Normal Acoustic Guitar (in fact it's just as easy to play as an Electric Guitar) because it's smaller.

This is also a big win for Acoustic Guitar players who wanna transition to Electric Guitar because this will relieve alot of pressure off of the fretting hand, & it's easier to hold too. Fender isn't just the only company that makes Acoustic Guitars that feel like Electric Guitars, there's a whole bunch of them, & Taylor is known for that. The biggest plus is that they made these Guitars in a way so that they have good tone because alot of Thin bodied Acoustic Guitars sound like toys.

I don’t want one, but I think it’s perfect for people that do coffee house and restaurant gigs. They need to make them a little more aesthetically pleasing and a lot cheaper. It’s as ugly as a VA wooden leg.

I have the TELE version. No it does not sound like my Epi acoustic. It is a fun guitar to noodle why half ass watching tv. Or I play it through my 20 watt Pignose amp, which gives it a warmer steel(ish) guitar sound. But it fits like an electric in my lap, and it doesn't sound too bad.

Pick up a 100 buck used Ovation Applause. Or buy yourself about 20 of them if you insist on spending that much, while getting the closest sound to Fender's Electrified Dried-Out Rubberband Simulator.

Such a weird guitar! I feel it mostly aims at replicating an acoustic guitar. I'm not sure I'd play very "electric guitar" type stuff on it. The guitars themselves inspire us to play in different ways. My SG inspired me to play differently from my Les Paul.

OK, I hated on this thing in the other video because I don't like the look. But I gotta say you really made me appreciate why that thing is great for a gigging musician that may have different types of sounds they want use. Instead of bringing a couple of different guitars you could just bring that. And yes, I hate the look of the thing, but part of me saying that is I think that's something they could easily fix going forward. Part of my hate of the look is I think they can and will do better. Also, I said in the original video that the price is the big issue for me. It's an investment piece price for something that probably wouldn't be thought of as that. They move the production outside of the US and get it down to even 1000 and I think you'd see people thinking of it more as a tool--which is how I see it. I just don't know a lot of musicians that would pay a very solid used Martin price for that thing.

if they made a squire version for like $500-$700 i’d sell my martin DX-12 for it,$2000 is too rich for my blood,come on fender make a more affordable version
