The beauty of Ravensburger's design is that at first glance, it does seem simple. Yet the further that you dig into the cards and combinations of Inks, the more depth that you can find. The game can become extremely complicated with the right card combinations. I'm a pretty hardcore card game player. I started with Magic all the way back in 1997. I've played that game, and numerous other card, minis, and board games off and on for the past almost three decades. It takes a great system with clear potential to get me hooked, and Lorcana has hooked me without a doubt. It's such an elegant system that is very easy to learn, but hard to master. I think that Ravensburger really created something special here.
