People really do forget that If God were to even smell in inch of sin on you, you would be destroyed. That’s why he sent his son because he needed someone to approach us on our level. That’s why God said his son brings him great joy. When u give your life to Christ, God no longer sees u, he sees his son and the blood which make u protected and saved from condemnation. God couldn’t come down to us because he was so holy. It’s like when u look at the sun, u can barley stand that, we would die in his presence, that’s why no man, has seen God, ever. How ever He needed someone to be on the same level as us. Jesus was God in the flesh. That’s why God said his son brings him great joy. God was very ruthless as told in the Old Testament. @@Sarah-rs1bz Isn't Jesus God in flesh, so if Jesus who is himself God in human form loved me even when I was a sinner, doesn't that mean God also loved me when I was a sinner. I know God can't stand sin and He's a just God and sin must be punished, But God said He loved the world(us) that is why He gave us Jesus, because He loved us. Why would God give us His righteous beloved beloved son for people who He did not love.
