My Testimony:
I grew up in church, but instead of knowing Jesus, I only knew religion. This led me to live a very hypocritical lifestyle. By the time I was in college, from the outside looking in, it seemed like I had everything together in my life. I was in the military, getting paid to go to college. I had plans to become a financial planner and expected to make a six figure income shortly after completing my degree. I had joined a fraternity and had access to all the alcohol, drugs and girls that I desired. In spite of all of that, on the inside I was broken, depressed, and empty as I searched through the world for something to satisfy my void.
I radically encountered God in a rock bottom moment and everything in my life changed from the inside-out. Instead of pursuing my own life plans, God rerouted my life into full-time ministry. After joining a local church, I began to voluntarily serve for several years. Over time that led into a church staff position opening up for me. As a result I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats including: administration, overseeing media, sound, & lights, leading worship, preaching, leading outreach ministry, and many other tasks that have arisen with ministry. While being faithful with the small, the Lord started to open doors for me to preach and equip the saints at other churches as well.
God has expanded His reach through the ministry to include not only many different states in the U.S., but also several different nations. Via in person encounters and social media platforms including KZfaq, Facebook, and Instagram, we're reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God has given me a beautiful wife named Abigail, and blessed us with two lovely children named Nora and Will. Abigail is currently on staff at our church as the Worship Pastor. Our hearts desire is to love God, love others, and walk as Jesus walked.

Yes... He died while we were yet sinners with the expectation that we would choose righteousness. We must keep our part of the covenant. We were even told to pray that God's "will be done on earth as it is in heaven." We must be holy like God is holy. God is separated from sinners. Christ died for us so our past sins could be passed over. Once we are righteous, our previous sins will be passed over, and we will be counted as righteous, just as Abraham was counted as righteous after he stopped sinning. ”Abraham listened to my voice and kept my charge: my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” (Genesis 26:5)

There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

@@AndrewL4me there’s nothing popular about being a Christian lol. I listen to completely different music, have a completely different outlook on my relationships, life and my future. To say the God of the Bible doesn’t exist because most people deep down know He does just doesn’t work. Although, people may “believe” in Jesus Christ but that doesn’t mean they actually follow Him. To believe is one thing, to deny yourself every day and walk with Him is another and Jesus Himself said, “narrow is the way and few find it.”

This has greatly encouraged me. I hear so many statements coming out of the church that just don't represent our Father's Word or His Nature very well and this is very rooted in the purpose of Christ! Thank you! There are persons without bodies that God hates. They are rejected by God and bound to this earth and are on assignment to keep men bound with them. Many people in this time are demonstrating that they are choosing to bind themselves to a different Image than the one given them by their Father. Who loves His creation and declared it very good. What God speaks is accomplished and no power can subvert Him, no matter how things look at the moment. He demonstrated love toward all through the perfect work of His Son. Every person, no matter how bound, may choose Christ and therefore is lovable. Which persons are given over as Romans 1 suggests, are not our concern. While they have breath and while time continues, they may still chose Jesus Christ and they are valuable and loved. After that God will not show them favor. When the persons without bodies are silenced in their minds, they will know they had all the opportunity they needed to chose Him, and they rejected Him and themselves. He isn't a respecter of persons. He will rightly divide.

"in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life." We must believe in Jesus. Jesus is The Truth. We must believe in The Truth in order to have eternal life. The Truth will set us free (John 8:32), so we must know The Truth! Again, Jesus is The Truth! (John 14:6) Scripture tells us how to tell if we know The Truth. Scripture tells us that we know that we know Jesus (The Truth) if we keep The Commandments. “And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. The one who says “I have come to know him,” and does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in this person.” (1 John 2:3-4) Since Jesus is The Truth, and The Truth will set us free, we must seek The Truth until we find it. We must keep seeking The Truth until we are keeping The Commandments. This is the only way we can tell if we have found The Truth (Jesus). Let’s look at what Truth is defined as in scripture. The sum of Yahweh’s Words, Laws, and Commands are Truth. “Now, my Lord Yahweh, you alone are God, and your words are truth.” (2 Samuel 7:28) “You are righteous, O Yahweh, and your ordinances are upright…Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is truth.” (Psalm 119:137-142) “You are near, O Yahweh, and all your commands are truth. (Psalm 119:151) “The sum total of your words adds up to truth, and every one of your righteous decrees is everlasting.” (Psalm 119:160) God’s Word is Truth “ Sanctify them in the truth-your word is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for them I sanctify myself, so that they themselves also may be sanctified in the truth.” (John 17:17-19) Jesus was born to testify to The Truth! Jesus stated that everyone who is of The Truth will hear Jesus’s voice. “For this reason I was born, and for this reason I have come into the world: in order that I can testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice.” (John 18:37) We must be of The Truth to hear the voice of Jesus. We are told that The Truth is in us only if we are keeping the Commandments. (1 John 2:3-4) In other words, to hear and recognize the voice of Jesus, we must be keeping the Commandments. If we are not, we must seek Righteousness with all of our heart until we are keeping the Commandments. God is Righteousness. If we seek Righteousness (God) with all of our heart, we will find Righteousness. Then we will be able to hear the voice of Jesus. “Truly, truly I say to you, that everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin. And the slave does not remain in the household forever; The Son remains forever. So if The Son sets you free, you will be truly free.” (John 8:34-36) “If you continue in my word you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)

God has a benevolent love for all man kind. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But it seems that there is a different kind of love for those who obey Him. John 14:21 KJV He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

God said he loved the world which is past tense. He says this about the World Present Tense: 1st John 2:15: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. I suspect he is saying he loved the world when sin wasn't in the world, such as in the garden of Eden.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" Loved and gave are in the same sentence. That means he loved while he gave. The phrase is in the past tense simply because the action of "giving" has already ended, not because the God's love has ended

God died and loves those that answer to the call of Jesus, the ones who hear him and obey him. God can not love unrepentant sinners. He does not love the world. Did you read my quote about the world? I would recommend you look at Myron Golden and his presentation about how God hates. We are to love others whether they're Christian or not. That doesn't mean God loves unrepentant sinners. If they die in an unrepentant state God will judge them and send them to hell. If he loves them why would he send them to hell? Because he hates the worker of iniquity which are unrepentant sinners

In the end, Abraham did keep the commandments just as we will have to. ”Abraham listened to my voice and kept my charge: my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” (Genesis 26:5) We cannot just take the parts of the Bible that we like because it tickles our ears. I agree that we are definitely saved by the Grace of God. God does every single thing FOR US. However, God is separated from sinners. We must choose righteousness. According to scripture, keeping the commandments is the way we can tell that we have come to know Him. "And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. The one who says “I have come to know him,” and does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in this person." (1 John 2:3-4) Speaking of The Truth, we must believe in The Truth. Jesus is The Truth. We must take ALL of the Bible together. We cannot just leave things out because we do not want to hear it. @@inTruthbyGrace

The problem is the word love, in English when you say God loves you. people understand that to mean that God really likes you as though you and God are friends, and knows you mean well even though you sin all day everyday. This thinking does not instill the fear of God. Which leads to a Godly sorrow, thus knowing the goodness of God , leads a man to repentance

So that shows this love the sinner and not the sin is false. The sinner is the sin all his iniquities he is covered in unless he is saved by the grace of God

The correct translation of Romans 5:8 is 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Commendeth is not the same as demonstrating. Commendeth in correct context means God untrusted, charged, gave the responsibility etc. to Christ (God in the flesh) to carry out the will of the Father. Because Jesus Christ was obedient to the death on the cross he was declared by the Father to be his only begotten Son. Only begotten doesn’t mean only beloved Son. It means he is the sole heir of the Father.

But I do agree with you Nick that God has a benevolent love for the world, but not an electing love. Completely agree , I'm not a hypercalvanist. So there is a general sense of love for the world. In relation to bible carry , I agree with you Nick but if we are people of the book and only speak the words of God then I think it's wise to carry a copy of the scriptures so we can be better stewards of the scriptures and Gods varied grace.

Brother i applaud you for what you do, but to say that they didnt carry the Torah as evidence is a little misleading. It is not that the Torah was as wildly available like the bible is today. In fact it was extremely expensive to own any type of document as paper was a commodity back then and very hard to produce and find. Not only that but to keep in good condition as well specially with all the traveling they used to do. So i dont think is a fair comparison but thats just my two cents. Like you said, i dont think we need the bible to witness, but to compare that to the bible....not sure. God bless.

God hates the sin and not the sinner is false. By nature we are sinners it is our nature it is what we were going to do. But by his grace he saves his sheep. Which is not everyone. If you look at 1 John 4:19 “We love him, because he first loved us” because HE 1st loved us but not everyone loves God? Why is that? If we love him because he 1st loved us why are there people who hate and mock him?? We are saved by grace and that’s not a work that man has done. He loves us once we obey repent and follow his will that is when he first loves us. When he calls to us and we listen, trust and obey that's when he loves us. He hates the sinner. Look at Psalm 5:5, read Proverbs 6:16. Also God loved the world (John 3:16) which is past tense. He also says do not love the world which is present tense. Look at this 1st John 2:15: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. An unrepentant sinner who break God's law and doesn't have a clean heart will 🚫 not enter into paradise. It took me a while to realize this but once I did it gave me peace. Please walk the straight and narrow.

It probably is useless to post here because I see no responses from Nicholas here. I am not sure if going into a crowd of homosexuals and refusing to leave is what Christians are suppose to do. Jesus told the apostles to go preach the gospel if they rejected the word, they were to shake the dust off their feet as a testimony against them. Paul later did this in Acts as well, this seems to be the right way to do things but I am not a teacher because teachers a judged more harshly. Does Jesus/God love everyone? It is a complicated question, but the short answer is no. Is Esau a member of the everyone group. Yes. Jacob i loved Esau I hated. God hated Esau because he sold his inheritance for a bowl of soup. This might be similar to someone who accepts Christ, but then later turns away because of the riches of this world and basically selling their inheritance from god (eternal life) for earthly possessions or sin. Basically trampling the blood of Christ heb10:26but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? The question also has other issues. What does love mean? In the Greek, Phileo, Storge, Eros, Agape are different words with different meaning. In english, I love ice cream, my dog, my house, my friends, my family, God. I do know salvation is a very conditional love, the love of God is extended to those who accept Jesus and are given the right to become children of God, where as those who reject Christ, are tossed into hell. Sending your creation to hell is not loving, but then again it depends on your definition. God loved the world that he died in the flesh and there is no greater love than that, So there is that. Again a complicated question.

@IAmR1ch

@@AC-zi1hm I did not say you should not preach to them, I said refusing to leave once your have preached to them or after they asked you to leave.. Paul would have preached to them as well, but if they rejected Christ he would shake the dust off his feet as a testimony against them and moved on. I believe that you should pray for them afterwords for God to change their hearts. Before you went to a group like this (which I am sure this guy did) is pray to the Lord to draw all men to him and prepare their hearts for the word. Then there my be those who reject Christ but if even one person accepts Christ it was worth going into a group of homosexuals. But when they ask you to leave (even though you don't have to because it is a public park) Paul would shake the dust. But if the Holy Spirit is telling Nick to go there, and he wins some of them over to Christ, who am I to argue his methods. I am just saying when they ask you to leave you probably should. Would the Holy Spirit tell you to stay there and argue with them? I don't know. Are you preaching because Christ told you to and when they reject Christ, you shake the dust from your shoes or are you there looking to bear fruit and have them come to Christ. Arguing with them seems counterproductive winning them over.

THE REASON THE PHARISEES KILLED JESUS: IT IS WRITTEN: THEY HATED HIM WITHOUT A CAUSE. THE PHARISEES FOLLOWED AND WATCHED JESUS LIKE A HAWK, BECAUSE HE DID THINGS NO OTHER MAN HAD DONE AT THAT TIME. THEY WERE FILLED WITH JEALOUSY AND HATRED TOWARD JESUS; THEY KNEW HE WAS THE SON OF GOD BY THE WORKS IN WHICH HE DID. PILATE KNEW THEY WERE ENVIOUS OF HIM (MATTHEW 27:18). THE JEWS SAID, “WE HAVE A LAW, AND BY OUR LAW HE OUGHT TO DIE, BECAUSE HE MADE HIMSELF THE *SON OF GOD”* JOHN 19:7. JESUS WAS KILLED FOR TELLING THE TRUTH-THAT HE IS THE *SON* OF GOD. My main question for Christianity is why did God create hell? A world of eternal torture with no possibility of forgiveness. The very existence of such a place means that creation is imperfect, which it cannot be. The Ecumenical Council cursed the teachings of Origen, who argued that hell is temporary and is not punishment in the literal sense, but is a metaphysical state of the soul. He claimed that at the end, all demons and even the devil himself will be forgiven. Does this mean that in Christianity there are entities that are not worthy of forgiveness? But if God is omnipotent, he could just change the entity and make it unable to sin. Does that mean he doesn't want to forgive them and doesn't want them not to sin? How can an all-loving entity create a place of endless punishment without the possibility of forgiveness? Something doesn't add up.

Question: why did God design sin the way he did? You may say “oh humans started winning on their own” but God is the one who said what is a sin in the first place. Why would he choose to have such strange laws such as not being in a homosexual marriage, or not working on Saturdays? Basically, how do we know his word is “good?” Also, if he told you to murder someone, would you? Because on your logic, you absolutely would, without hesitation. And don’t say “god wouldn’t do that” because he did, many times in the Bible.
