Thank you Jacob. I love this splitter. Much faster than any single wedge hydraulic box store splitter. Thank you kindly for the continued support and the comment.

I bought a Rugged Made 737 last year. It’s a beast! I think I’m into it for $5000ish.

Those rugged machines are nice. I wouldn't have guessed you could get into one for that price. That's awesome. Thanks for watching and commenting.

agreed Jerry, the kinetic splitters offer a home owner or even small businesses a chance to keep up with high end log splitters at a much lower cost. Looking about and seeing some of the hydraulic splitters, i know i wouldnt want one of them that has a 12 to 15 second cycle time on them. id be there all day at that at that rate, at least with the kinetic splitter, i can tolerate 3 seconds 😆 Great job on them rounds though bud, split right through them no problem. I found with mine is to keep the blade sharp edged and it will always slice through anything. The knots are the worse part but if the blade is sharp ive seen them get cut through with a smooth edge. Keep em coming Jerry, always good to see what your up to.

I agree with everything you said. Good advice about the blade. I hit a piece of metal already and put a big ding in the blade. I look forward to using it more. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy

@BigelowWoodcraft aah no way, touch wood (pardon the pun) I've never hit metal with it yet, always had nice clean wood so far. I'm really happy for you buddy 👍

Good morning Jerry I still split with the hydraulic splitter my dad built in the 70s but I split next to my wood pile so I can pile the wood as I split less bending over have a great day

Good morning Glen. I used to split into my woodshed then stack but since this stuff is out in the lumber yard I'm doing it out there. I have to figure out a system that's for sure. Thanks for the continued support and commenting.

I love my Super Split. I did replace the Honda engine with a 1.5 HP electric motor, since I split pretty close to the garage. I can split on Sunday mornings, and nobody hears a thing.

A conveyor or short elevator would definitely be the next step. Then you can load it on the trailer right off of the splitter!

How log does it take to split a cord with the SS?
@BigelowWoodcraft
@BigelowWoodcraft 8 ай бұрын
I've never timed it. I can do a face cord in about 20 minutes but don't think I could keep up that pace.

I got one recently, found that the belt rubs badly on the cover. Any issues for you?
@BigelowWoodcraft

No I've not seen that at all. Is the tension correct? Hope you get it resolved.
@NicWolfer

@@BigelowWoodcraft belt tension is good, it’s on the under side near where that stud sticks down to attach it to the frame, it’s like the plastic cover came warped upward ? I sent them a message last night, hoping they have a solution for me, I’ll either cut it so no clearance issues anymore or take the heat gun to it and try to bend it. Kinda stinks because I only have an hour or so of run time on it and it chewed into that piece 4” or so

@@NicWolfer when I get my knee feeling a bit better I'll go double check mine and see how much clearance I have. I think the heat gun truck would work.
