Edifier W800BT are very similar to the reviewed headphones. I am very happy with them. 75 Hour playback battery life. Edifier is Premium brand in China. About $35.

great video! i reviewed these last year and was equally blown away by the construction and sound quality given the price. only thing i'd change is the crazy sound leakage. use in noisy areas like an airport terminal or airplane is fine, just don't expect to rock them at medium to high volume in a quiet lobby area without people giving you the death stare :p

Still better than Beats by Dre.

Oh man, I bought a pair of Volkano ANC headphones and they look SOOO similar to this. Both the headset and the case, down to the little velcro pouch with the cables and the airplane adaptor jack

The case alone would run at least 10-12 bucks separately. And btw the cable enables you to still use the headphones if/when the battery runs out of power. Very handy.

Hi, Thanks for the video! I was wondering if you could give advice on good (wireless) noise canceling headphones. I looked online a bit and saw quite a few different ones ranging in price from €50 to €350. I would like it for work, since our office space is one room. So some days people have meetings I do not need to be at in the same room. Then it would be great to listen to music for hours comfortable without getting distracted by the meeting. I think I am not the only one with this problem, seeing the growing number of people working flex workplaces and in cafes that not always want the surrounding noise.

*READ THIS BEFORE BUYING* I wear headphones everyday for around 10 hours a day (maybe more). I've gone through 3 pairs of these headphones (bought one, warranty on another, and was lazy and just bought another) . While the initial build quality isn't bad, they wear down extremely easily. I take good care of my electronics and i've had the earcuffs disconnect from the band twice, and also had a pair where I lost the battery cover and earcuff cover come off (and it wouldn't go back on). Why did I keep buying them? They say you're more likely to spend 100 $1 bills then $100 once. That's true for me and I kind of regret it. The only reason I kept getting these headphones was because I wanted wireless headphones and didn't want to pay $200. If you want headphones to use daily, consider other options.

I have a pair that cost $50 NZD...the build quality is amazing, audio and video sync VERY well especially when I need to do some private listening during the night to respect others around the house. Very good for my HTPC, all those in NZ you can buy them at the warehouse, you'd be shocked how great these are! (not an employee, just a happy customer!)

Just got em today, I bought them after watching many reviews (including this one). I have never gone wrong with anything i bought with Lewis's recommendations (Unbox therapy). These headphones are very good indeed & l got to say that won't find a better pair for this price range (my guess is 'not even for $100'). Just get them and you will be satisfied (unless you are looking for a damn good headphones for under $50 to use in your studio). Trust me, these are brilliant!!

At the huge south Long and Mcquade in Calgary there was so much headphones, I tried a lot of them but the Audio Technica ones were the best ones were the best. The Audio Technica m40x where the ones I am going to get. They are pretty flat but still extremely clear which means they are good for recording and mixing music which I like because that is something I want to use them for because I play guitar, but with custom equalizers settings with a good equalizer app or a good built in equalizer on a player or phone they can sound amazing and clear. What I really love is that these headphones come with 3 different cables you can use with it. I hate bluetooth audio equipment because none of it is hifi even though Bluetooth has been arounds for many years now. I would say that if you want more bass the MX series is not for you, even with the equalizer on my GS7 high they still did not have extreme bass, which for me is ok because I have sensitive ears and a lot of headphones have too much bass for my ears. They are really comfortable. You can usually find $200 which is a great deal. They are also great for listening in public as they do not have much sound bleeding compared to come headphones. Sound bleeding from headphones is when people can hear music from your headphones. I hate hearing music through peoples headphones which is why I also consider how much sound bleeding there when looking at headphones. I really wish really noise cancelling headphones sounded more hifi. BTW I think Vox player is the best hifi music player for Mac and I love how it can sync songs from iTunes.

I work in a factory environment. Noisy. Do these do a pretty good job of drowning out the noise? Im considering buying these. Been using my Apple earbuds which are ok. But not the greatest and kill my ear canal after a couple hours

I had these for about a year. They sounded pretty good, but then the plastic on the band broke. I replaced them with Avantree Audition Pro headphones and they are much more comfortable and sound a lot better. They also get 40 hours of battery life instead of 15.

Whatever people are saying but Sony500-700 series and Technica MX50x as well as skullCandy Crashers are the best in my world and I have tiny little Bluetooth dongle that can be used with those

It sucks when after Lews review they got 10$ more expensive... It's not about 10 bucks, it's a matter of principles - I'd rather buy something else.

I have been trying to find a Bluetooth headphones that has good quality sound, that has a good design and won't break easily, has good reviews, have over ear head all for around $50 bucks. Does any on have one you think fits with what I want anyone?

The thing about cheap stuff isnt just about the quality of the audio. The big question is how long do they last as in the quality of the materials. If you use them daily then the materials might start to wear out. I had that experience. My story was that i have wireless Sony headphones (not the ones in this video but still expensive Sony ones, couple of years ago bought, really good stuff). I bought backup wired headphones for much cheaper, and a less expensive brand (Trust - dutch company, makes mouses and keyboard for years). The reason i bought them was precisely that when i am for example in the middle of something and my wireless Sony headphones battery dies i have some alternative. Well eventually one day my Sony headphones batteries died, and it had a specific batteries which are quite expensive and cant be ordered from every supermarket (i dont always buy stuff online). In fact i think the batteries of the Sony headphones cost as much (maybe even slightly more) as the wired Trust headphones at that time (couple of years ago i said). So i decided to just stick with them (i mainly use at home behind computer/desk), for phone i use smaller headphones anyway. Once i started to use those Trust headphones with wire daily, things started to wear out, at one point of time the wire started to cause clear issues listening wise (i cant describe the noise but those who use wired headphones should know what i mean). Then the material used which sits on your head (support) while u use them started to wear out. And that all happened like after 6 months of having them. They died with less than a year. And that was all just using sitting behind computer. I didnt use them outside or in some hard conditions like running in the rain or working in the construction. Just indoor, behind computer desk. Not impressed. Meh. I got my lesson from that. Buy world famous brand and expensive when it comes to electronics. The Sony headphones i have had since 2009 so its 8 years now, and nothing has broken, nothing, no plastic or wear issues.

I bought Esperanza headphones for 35$ one month ago and after 10 days of use I had cracks all over the headband that's made out of really cheap-looking, stiff and thin plastic that has no flexion. When you turn them on you hear "The bluetooth device is ready to PAIL." XD with chinese accent (or whatever it is). Anyways I'm just waiting for the day when the headband will break appart somewhere in public transport while I'm using them, I just hope I won't end up on youtube as a ridicul of the year... -_-

I got some Bluetooth sound logic XT wireless headphones they're on ear but sound great

currently using sony mrd-zx100's that ive had for about 4 years. pretty good wired headphones for $20. also have that qcy bluetooth headset with the wire that goes behind your neck which is also pretty good. thing i dont like about the sony ones is that over time the material on the cushions starts fall apart.easy to find replacement ones online tho

So I have a few questions for those who have already bought it and have had it for a while: 1) How good is the sound quality, like is there good bass, or like if there's any leakage? 2) Can these work for Windows 8/ps4? 3) How long does it last on a full charge? 4) How good is the sound isolation/noise canceling, if any? 5) How durable are they, like how much mis-use can they take before they give in? 6) How long would they last, like in months/maybe years? 7) Is there ANY problems with the bluetooth, like does it just randomly cut out at certain moments, how far away can they be from your phone for them to cut out? 8) *optional* what exactly is bluetooth 4.0? 9) How comfortable are they, for short (maybe an hour) period and/or longer (like several hours) periods? 10) How light are they, could you throw your head around rocking out to music without problems? 11) How well do the buttons on the sides work? Are they great on some popular devices like iPhone and Samsung and other big devices, and hit or miss on cheaper devices (I have an LGK7). 12) Do they have any sort of "squeeky/creeek" sound when you pull them out to put on your head? (weird question I know) 12) Would they be comfortable/not in the way if you were to rest them around your neck when not using them? 13) Are they truly comparable to higher end headphones (name brand like Beats) or can they be easily distinguised? 14) Last one I swear, for now at least. Are they worth the price (at time of commenting they're $50)?

About three months ago, I went to buy these headphones with your link, I was also looking around for other stuff to buy too. I accidentally bought the wrong headphones. From the brand "SoundPEATS" they have a surprisingly similar if not identical layout and shape to these Photive headphones. The only difference, is they sound like they're worth the $35 spent on them.
