As someone who's owned an NP2 copy since he dropped in JP, I feel the need to warn people. Even at NP2 with Black Grail, he STILL misses kills in farming nodes. If you want him, you'll want him INCREDIBLY pimped out. I honestly think it's a sucker's bet to roll for him unless he's a favorite that you'll be ok with at NP1. Especially since both Koyanskaya and Oberon's banners will have pity (and Muramasa wants Oberon anyway)

He can kill boss He can loop He hits hard He is awesome He is a must summon

I need all the Shiroufaces, I want him for the nostalgia of Fate Stay Night. I wish the Swordboi had different classes for different gameplay roles. Fate Ace Royal states EMIYA's possible classes as Archer, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker.

Muramasa is a complete luxury roll for me. He won't revolutionize my account. He won't be my most-used Servant. But he will be well loved. What more could I ask for? (Also less time spent watching Edin Shugra Quasar is a win in my book.)

I have been saving for 2 years straight on NA for him. NP5 shall be mine. I got 2.6k ready

I’m going to stick with my Jason for now. He can’t run black grail, but with enough investment he can pretty consistently loop most lancer nodes with double Castoria and painting summer (Plus his buff in the future helps address his biggest issue of damage).

I don't REALLY care about whose the BEST looper is. To me, Muramasa is A MUST HAVE. I have been waiting for him to be summonable since I finished Shimousa about 3 or 4 ish years ago. I NEED my boy.

I really love him. Its one of those units that scales in the gameplay and that feels really cool to see "oh he is not hitting that harnd" and when he is fully buff "ohmygod he just recharge his NP with 1 card wtf"

Og emiya is my favorite servant in the franchise. I have castoria and mlb black grail but I probably won't be able to get two unless I get Really lucky. Hopefully this boy will live up to the hype, even at np1.

It's funny, the more I hear about Muramasa, the LESS I want him. Which is actually good, I need to go all out for LB6/6th Anni. Good luck to anyone going for the redhead.

Tldr review for me; jack of all trade,master of none. Low np damage but compensate with amazing looping ability, great crit damage And most importantly of all,shirou face. Basically emiya but saber and more expensive. Anyway i'll try to np6 him

Fun fact, on JP I decided to roll for him while watching this video. Got him in 60 quartz. Now if only I had a Castoria. Or literally any support besides Waver and Xu Fu.

As someone who has multiple np5 farming servants from skama to arjuna alter, Morgan and arcuied, I use muramasa the least(but he is fun to bust out when its a full on lancer node). I use Arcuied the most since I can bring her to anything with a black grail and buster farming ignores refund. Close second is arjuna alter then Morgan. Cause juna is more consistent. You'll find future events 90++ node to be even more difficult for farming servants and you do kinda need specific setups to mindlessly 3t and get farming done without hassle. I would not reccomend np5 muramasa if you are saving for other servants too. As much as I'd roll for my favourite servants like np5 Bryn or Arthur, I'd kick myself if I missed out on rolling strong servants in the long run. Farming is 70% of the game and it being easier helps A LOT.

Ive been saving as a f2p for several servants next year... but getting extra copies of muramasa might be too tempting

metaslaves when the servant in question cannot produce 99 giggalaboons of damage and 500% np refund when its not np5 (np4 is not enough) Its a joke but goodluck on rolling him for both farming and luxury needs

I'm gonna stick with Jason he gets an np upgrade in the future that gives him more damage and with the support we're getting in the future I'd say putting him with double castoria and xu fu helps him loop more

Hmm, I feel like I'm better off saving for Ashtarte. Spishtar is an amazing*"catch all"* unit IMHO. From experience she seems to require less resources to get going. She's more forgiving for a looper. And when farming dailies you never have to swap out for a new DPS especially since she can one shot the last solo boss in the hardest dailies. So I think getting more copies of Avenger Rin is worthwhile in the long run.

sadly i already have spishtar and castoria so my farming looper comp is already fixed and also im a former unga bunga buster enthusiast having several buster servants with np batteries so im also fixated on saving for both koyanskayas.

Man. Don't I just hate when Nasu goes for an untranslatable pun whenever he names things. Like the name of the NP, 無元の剣製. I get why that'd be translated as Baseless Blade Works but the thing is that sounds exactly the same as 無限の剣製, which is the actual name of Unlimited Blade Works in Japanese. So you have a pun that you cannot exactly translate except in the most literal way, which leaves everyone confused. Just the same as Castoria's buff, Anti Enforcement Defense, which in Japanese is 対粛正防御. Taken literally it makes no sense, because it's meant to be a pun on 対粛清防御, which means "Anti-purge defense". The kanji change in such a way as to make it sound cooler while still letting people know what was meant by the sound of the word, the translation teams pick up these names in the most literal way instead of trying to localize the pun somehow and everyone else just ends up scratching their heads as to WTF do these weird names even mean.

I'm obligated to warn people here that an NP5 Muramasa is about on par with an NP2 Spishtar on neutral, so if you're rolling for him because of farming, you better be doing it because you want a shirouface, and not because he's that cost efficient as far as gameplay investments go. #BuiltInBGVroomVroom

I've seen so much hype for him but having NP3 space ishtar makes him really unappealing right now for my account.

Man, I'll be honest, I'm kinda disappointed. Even though I'm saving to spark either Koyanskaya or Summer Kama (I can't decide xD), I was really excited for Muramasa; dude was an awesome character in Shimousa, and hearing he was good as well got me in the hype train. I think I'll do one or two multis, for the heck of it. I like Shirou, and I don't think the low damage is that big of a deal breaker to me. I just wish he didn't need so much investment to be good.

Well, I guess this kinda solidified my choice of not rolling Saber Emiya. Truth be told, I was initially hoping he would have taken more of a Supporter role, as opposed to the Emiya we have now. You know, he "makes" the weapons that Sabers use, so I think it would have been cool to see him buff his allies, perhaps extra for fellow Sabers, as opposed to the role we have now. I mean, another functional Arts-Looping Saber is nice and all, but I've already figured out how to jerry-rig Jason setups on Heian-Kyo, so methinks I'm good on that front.

I got him with a two ticket roll and a multi roll. Np2 makes him broken and become even more broken when I put current new year arts CE and castoria at his side. See him deal lots of damage when I put him in a np chain.

honestly, what ends up happening with muramasa for me is, I like that he's shirou and I kinda have to get him because why not, plus cool np and that's it. he's not going to be as much of a staple as say benienma in my team (even though she aint that good, just that I like benienma. hope vermillion comes out soon, don't care if she's a separate servant.) but I will get him purely because he's fun

I am collecting arts loopers. So I will try to get him. His job will be general farmer for everything else I have Gong and my NP2 Musashi.

Thank god for the safety net, since before I roll, I always say that I will never get what I want to avoid being super disappointed. I will have 1 copy at least now lol Going to feed him all the grails I can and max out Fou him so maybe NP1 wouldn't hurt as much. But expecting low damage for SSR is fine with me, meta slaving too much is never good for me, plus I got what makes Arts so that will be enough.
