Is resizable bar important for GPU performance? Turns out it is. At least a little bit. In this video we'll find out how much. This is a follow up to the video I did a while back about upgrading Nvidia GPU Drivers. I kind of messed up in that video and this video is an update.

Just wanted to say thanks for the DISM and SFC video. Lost power like a month ago and everything was fine until my PC failed to update like 4 times. Couldn't update anything. No errors found after the iso trick for repairing it. Thanks

My old computer that I don't use anymore actually has a MSI Radeon X1300 graphics card with only 256MB VRAM in it

Sorry I know this video is old but I just recently got the MSI Gaming X model. You mentioned there's no dual bar support. Does that mean only this card you can't use resizable bar feature? What about the other cards, do they have dual bar support?

Only for intel arc gpus, but you don’t really need it

The problem is bandwidth also I've never heard of this happening but do you know how when you edit the page file on a computer did you know that if your computer doesn't have enough DRAM you will constantly have data being transferred between your DRAM your page file that causes it to slow down a lot the same thing might happen if you do that also having two gpu linked together isn't really that useful most of the time and mainly used for rendering because it usually takes a bandwidth on the motherboard even though it takes nanoseconds for the data transfer between the gpus it's still quite a while compared to everything else like DRAM actually takes about 17 nanoseconds so you could actually start to run into the issue that your CPU just can't pull data fast enough because of the time it takes for the data to travel between the GPU

I was having issues with stuttering and crashing in Starfield on my 1070 Ti. Rebar solved that. Nice. First game I've played since i got that GPU 5 years ago that not run well on an Ultra preset so it makes sense.

Strange.. rebar is only supposed to be supported on rtx 30 series and up and and 6000 and up
