Some parts suck ewoks defeating the best the empire had... but overall it completes the movie really well.

this happens many of times. when napoleon went to hispaniola in 1808 to assimilate some natives, despite having far better technology, strategy and logistics, the natives annihilated the few thousand french force because they had better knowledge of the island and higher numbers despite being far less advanced.

A bit of nerdy word vomit about Ewoks. I don’t hate Ewoks as a thing in Star Wars, I liked them as a kid and I didn’t get the problem either. Re-watching as an adult though I really don’t like what they did with the Ewoks at all. I shouldn’t be laughing my ass off during the final climax, but little teddy bears throwing rocks at people with armour but the people with armour get knocked out by the rocks ect, it’s ridiculous and I’m sorry but I hate it now, especially when it’s parallel action between teddy bears vs stormtroopers and then cutting back to Luke and Vader, so every time it cuts back to the Ewoks it’s a “nooooooooo” moment for me. That being said I also don’t like the end of this movie much either, the party I mean, I absolutely adore Luke burning Vader and he looks up and everyone’s celebrating, a beautiful moment, that should’ve ended the movie, but instead after that they cut to Ewoks playing the drums with stormtrooper helmets and Lando failing to clap in time with anything, and they all come together for one final corny shot, might as well ended in a freeze frame. Great video man, ROTJ was always my favourite as a kid, as an adult I love the first half but the second half is where I have problems, that being said I still think it’s a great movie and a fitting end for the story.

@@Crimsrn You’ve got a good argument I won’t lie, but when I see a small rock hit a stormtroopers helmet and he falls over like he’s dead, I just can’t take that seriously when our earth soldiers would be fine. I can’t not laugh at that and I just feel like I shouldn’t be laughing at that point in the movie, so it kills that ending a little bit for me on the rewatch.

With the exception of the space battle and death star scenes, I really don't like the aesthetics of the film.

9:50 actually it DOES make sense. The light/happy version of Anakin died young. While kenobi was still on the light side, and most likely content with his life, up to his death

I’m not going to have a big long nerdy debate with you haha, but to me at this point him showing up at all makes no sense, not every Jedi gets to be a force ghost, I believe Qui Gon and Yoda communicated about it after his death and Obi Wan obviously communicated with Qui Gon about the force ghost thing too and how to do it, but Anakin wouldn’t have? So it kind of made sense or at least was a nice moment until they did a few things decades later in the clone wars and other things that made it make absolutely no sense at all from my perspective. End of the day though it’s straight up magic so I don’t care how it works and I don’t know why they insist on attempting to explain the force to me. And what even happened Medichlorians? That went absolutely nowhere, so I wouldn’t make too much of a fuss about this kind of thing in Star Wars at all, Ewoks killing a stormtrooper by throwing a small rock at his helmet though, I take issue with that haha.
