I’ve used the foam version for about 5 months so far. It has helped to retain the hair in the crown. But I apply it daily in the temples with a q tips twice daily. It’s working

Still needs to address the DHT in the scalp. I'm surprised he doesn't come out and say, add Finasteride or Dutasteride in ones daily routine or else you'll keep losing hair in spite of using Rogaine.

I've been using rogaine for a few months now. I was balding in the front. my hair has grown back completely. I think it has been 5 months. I've been using the Target brand Up & Up. I've always used it twice a day. In the morning and before bed. and with doing that my hair has grown back full and thick. and getting better and better as days go by.

Portia Oles if you have a scar no hair will regrow. You can transplant hair into the scar and then the hair will grow

Use the amount recommended in the package (usually 1ml per application, applying twice daily for men, once for women). Your body can only process a certain amount of minoxidil during a certain period of time, so any extra amount you use will be wasted.

I also take Finasteride 1mg daily before bed. Minoxidil at night and wash. Y hair with Nizoral shampoo I have retained my hair and my crown is getting smaller and new hair is coming out on the vertex All in the last 5 months. I’m excited about the results

Hi. I stopped using rogaine two weeks ago after using it for 6 months and my hair started to get thinner and i had lots of shedding. I have fairly long hair and i fear that most of it will fall off. So my question is how long of a time it is before the hair will go back to it's normal state and is there something i can do to prevent more hair from falling. and i didn't use rogaine for my head so why does it affect the hair so much?

Hair grows 1 cm per month. Rogaine is like brushing your teeth. If you want clean teeth, you brush everyday. If you want healthier growing hair you use minoxidil or Rogaine to help stimulate regrowth.

Hichem Ben Ameur When you start Rogaine and when you stop Rogaine people can experience a temporary shedding within 1 to 2 weeks later. This is not typically a permanent hair loss. I tell my patients not to start it unless less you’re going to be committed to it long term it is not a trial and error for short periods

i have been using it and it is 5 weeks now. I got more hair shedding after i use it.Before i stared , i lost my hair during for long sickness. Then i started it after consulting with my doc. I know i should not give up but it is really frustrating to have more hair shedding after 5 weeks. I read that hair shedding is normal in the first stage when you use minoxidil. Jack Cloud you are correct ! It doesn’t work for everyone. It is not 100% especially if you do not give it a minimum of a one year trial.
