In this game you play as a woman named Lauren, who is going to see her sister kate and help her move out. but when she arrives at kate's house and finds it empty, she investigates. she then hears her sister screaming in the forest behind her house, and goes to look for her. (Kate is actually the character you play as in the original 8 pages game, and that scream was from the ending in that game where you collect all 8 pages but die anyway) Lauren does the 8 pages herself, avoids being killed, finds an old mine, and that chaser that was in the mines? that is kate.. or what's left of kate. she has become one of slender's proxies, which are people who does slenderman's bidding. she then escapes the mine, and that teddy bear flashback was showing what happened to charlie, as you play as the missing boy in that flashback. Lauren finds 2 tapes. the one where you play as CR investigating charlie's disappearance, and the one showing why kate ran into the forest at night before the 8 pages game. the CR tape has you play as CR, one of kate's childhood friends. you find out that charlie isn't gone, but has been turned into another one of slender's proxies. all burned, mummified, starved, a horrific sight to be sure. CR drops his camera after being chased by charlie. the tape with kate, like I said, shows why kate ran off into the woods to start the 8 pages hunt from the original game. not much else to be said there lol. the forest starts to burn down, as CR sacrificed himself as he believes the only way to ensure slender doesn't haunt any more families, is to burn himself and kate alive in a massive fire as slender has been tormenting them since they were children. kate does NOT wanna go through with that, and runs away. leaving CR to burn to death inside the radio tower building. the ending still kinda confuses me tho, I'm not sure why charlie kidnaps you, and lets you find kate. maybe tricking Lauren that she found her sister? whatever the case, Lauren finds kate crying in the corner of the burned down matherson family home, only for kate to turn into the chaser from earlier, seemingly either killing lauren, or knocking her out to be turned into a proxy

Great video! Your observations on this game are hilarious. XD And I know this comment is late, but while _Slender: The Arrival_ is an incredible game, its Unity version doesn't hold up _as well_ in this day and age as it did back then. Granted, there are many people out there (myself included) who love the Unity version anyways, and can see just how fantastic of a horror game it is, but for people with a more critical eye, I don't see the game being that cool to them. Heck, I had made a whole video saying about how brilliant _Slender: The Arrival_ is, but I won't go and say all the reasons why here. While it's by no means a _perfect_ game, and certainly not among the greatest horror games ever made, I can confidently say that it IS the greatest _Slender_ game ever made. Better than _Slender: Haunt_ and the _Slenderman's Shadow_ maps, even. Now, you might've noticed that I've been saying "the Unity version", and that's because it's been remade in the Unreal engine on this very day. And it is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than the Unity version. Not just in the photo-realism of the environments and fixing the graphical glitches, but also in the story. I used to think that the "Homestead" chapter was the scariest chapter, due to the cellar that you have to traverse, but there's now a new chapter that's been added in the Unreal update to the game, and this new chapter is _so much scarier_ than the "Homestead" chapter. I won't divulge to you what happens in it, but just know that it took what scared me so much about "Homestead" and stretched it into an entire chapter that's definitely the longest in the game. So yeah, the Unity version doesn't hold up that well in 2023, but its Unreal version _absolutely_ does. Do be sure to give it a try if you haven't yet, please. You won't regret it. X3

Problems with Slender The Arrival: It got released in a bad time since there were too many Slender fan games Basically every second chapter has the old 8 pages level (or similar) The secret glitch level crashes on Ps4 before you can play Good Things about Slender the Arrival: It has atleast an own 8 Pages level + a remaster of the old 8 Pages game as the 9th Chapter The story was good There is a $20 reference (In 8 Pages there was a $20 mode where $20 Plays when Slender is in your near a reference to Marble Hornets sadly that mode got removed due to Copyright on the song idk) The game adapts Slenders behaviour as we know it

Though the video quality is scarier than the game.
