That's really strange because every single player down to a man has said Rob and Ryan are the best owners they've ever played for. What is so hard to accept about a couple of good guys doing a good business? I guess you're just not used to doing that.

Did you listen, he just said that if Wrexham didn't go up they wouldn't have been fucked as Reynolds said. Why is that incorrect? Unless Reynolds has a limit on how much he wants to spend. He's right they are milking the media journey and good luck to them. So what we saying Wrexham would have been fucked if they didn't go up? Ok then why? Did anyone ask the Hollywood guys why that would have been the case seeing as they are by a country mile the richest owners at that level.

Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney are the perfect owners because they put the community first. Also, unlike other owners that Simon defends, Reynolds is a good businessman. He didn't inherent his money, he had to work for it, so he is careful with it.

Have to disagree with Simon on this one. His main issue seems to be Ryan And Rob's declaration in the show that if Wrexham didn’t get promoted then they were "doomed". There is a huge amount of dramatic licence going on here that Simon isn't accounting for. They're creating drama, to sell the show, to generate more interest, to increase fanbase and support, all of which generate more income for the club and support the long term goal which is further promotion and sustainability. They're making a TV show to promote the club. It works better if the stakes are higher. They're creating narrative. They're also spending plenty of money, and yeah, that should be a little scary, even for rich people.

Wrexham have great owners, a fantastic manager, loyal fanbase that can easily be expanded by local Welsh people and others from surrounding areas like Cheshire and Liverpool because of the excellent road links, so sorry Simon, we're not in butt plug land. Plus, we're becoming really well known all over the US and the merchandise income potential is astronomical. Historically, we've also played and beat many top Premiership and European sides, and won loads of trophies, whereas Palace are a minnow from an obscure part of London and have never won nowt of any note! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Simon Jordan talks a lot of ill educated nonesense at times. Typical little rich boy attitude. An unsustainable business is exactly that. If failure to get promoted means it is unsustainable to any particular owner then that is what it is. They know the accounts and they know how much of their own personal wealth they can afford to lose, not Mr. Jordon. He should stick to facts and what he actually knows instead of generalising and guessing and passing it on as the truth.

At Ipswich our owners have been a real blessing! Have transformed the club in and out, massive updates to the stadium, new training facilities coming and invested heavily in the team and the infrastructure behind them… ofcourse they will always sell for big money should we make the premier league and manage to sustain it but the facts they’ve done so much compared to the previous ownership is worth it all!

Unpopular opinion but FSG should have came up in this conversation because of the major clubs in Europe they’re the only one that have had major success by doing smart business and running a profitable football club and done so scandal free without oil investment. Now all the credit goes to Klopp and the sporting directors for scouting and acquiring talent and being tactically brilliant but FSG without question have given them what they needed to thrive.

I’m born in London.. dads a Geordie.. went to my first Newcastle game at 4 years old.. had a season ticket for 10 years taking the train from kings cross every other week.. have lived in Newcastle for the last 6 years.. and yes have a southern accent. No such beast exists. All humans are flawed, as a result, ownership will be flawed. Better question is “who’s the least flawed of all owners”. I’d say wrexham. They care about the community and want what’s best for the region. That’s the top priority, community investment. What other fc operates like that?Arsenal? City, Leeds? Lol.
