Uncanny X-Men # 130, you would want the direct edition over the newsstand simply because direct were fewer printed. They did not have comic book stores back then and when they did, they did not print as many direct over newsstand

The crazy thing is even when I bought The dazzler issue when I bought X-men 129 as a high schooler, it was such a favorite issue of mine, I would hate to sell it even it was worth $1000. It’s already worth 1000 in high grade? Newsstands in those days, nobody wanted, period end of sentence, which everyone already knows I guess! 🤣

Agreed. If Dazzler's new book were to take off, then I MIGHT think differently, but no one reads the current Sensational She-Hulk, I doubt Dazzler would be far off.

Deadpool is gonna be like Flash, where they dump all these appearances in one scene towards the end. But hopefully it'll be done better.

I’m sure there will be quick appearances but that’ll mainly be due to the story, timeline, and length of the film etc. If the movie was 3-4 hours long then you could have more time focusing on each characters but the film isn’t long enough. I don’t think it really needs it anyways honestly cause the story will be pretty fast paced as all Deadpool movies have been. So quick appearances actually make sense and shouldn’t be an issue. That being said I’m confident the appearances will actually make sense with the story and not be trash like flash. We’ll just have to wait and see but I remain optimistic it will be awesome.

@@MarvelousCards Thanks for agreeing with me. I'm happy to see that some folks in this hobby are thinking logically. As for how good the film will be... Well, this is a subjective matter. I know plenty of people who liked Flash, but I did not. But then again, I don't like any of Marvel films by FOX, including past Deadpool and Wolverine flicks... So to each his own.

@@davidruiz2474 normally I would default to the classic comic book origin, but a lot of MCU stuff uses more modern comics as influences too (I'm thinking of Incursions from Hickman's New Avengers run), so I guess they could go either way...

Well it looks like Marvel has decided to remain ignorant just like Disney and repeat the same over and over again they keep pushing all these variants for these books, there’s a reason why Disney stock has gone down a lot and every movie and tv shows has failed the only one that made a profit was Guardians now they are praying that Deadpool makes a profit and I hope it does I don’t care what Washington news is coming out but inflation is going up and will be with us for a while, fellow collectors my free advice is not to fall victim to the hype if you want a copy to read go ahead and buy a copy and just wait for the other ones to go down in trust me they definitely will go down, and let’s face it the storylines imarvel and dc have been putting out have been bad and the majority of these big books that have lost value is yes because the market is settling but also because of these movies that have bombed😊

That Romita jr wolverine cover makes me want to stop buying comic books, but then again its art, and art is always on eye of the beholder. Some times a good story it takes over any art.

Funny. I have stopped buying comic books except for jrjr and Simonson and magnola and any of the 80s artists that I can find. 21st century comic art is horrible. I'm sorry if it is all you know. You missed out on the great stuff. And if the art sucks no amount of story will save it.

Jrjr gets so much flak from the youngsters. His art is fantastic. Jrjr Byrne Paul Smith and Claremont put the all new X Men on the map! #141 & 142 is fantastic. Dazzler sux.

Jr's a fantastic artist and storyteller. For whatever reason, the people all demand "realistic" artwork these days. People would probably be hating if Kirby was still alive and putting out covers.

So far nothing about the relaunch of new X-men books is appealing at all. I’m sick and tired of Marvel constantly relaunching books that are failing. All that’s needed is to get a new creative team and concentrate on strong storytelling that doesn’t pander to your audience. I’m totally out.
