Does this Carl's Guides mod actually help fix the sims 4 dine out? from being able to actually cook in your own restaurant to managing how many sims can appear and time management, this dine out reloaded mod seems to have it all! it'll definitely be a staple in my game from now on

whilst kids can’t “manage” the restaurant, they can clean up dishes and still help out the family business running smooth!

You nailed it. Exact feelings about management Sims and Dine Out's potential in that area. I still have a lot of ideas and a lot more work to do. Sims eat politely doubles the time it takes for them to finish a meal, which can be shockingly short! SO it's more for swanky places if you would like to not be moving customers constantly. When visiting you can actually bribe to get pushed to the front of the meal queue to speed up how fast you will receive your meal :) For your/Bob Pancakes' type of restaurant, 3.2 has apologize for wait so you can help get wait time stat down a bit on Sims like the roswell wife who came later. Sous chef is working great in that version so far and I thank you for mentioning it! Anyway I always love your content so it's a huge pleasure to see you playing with my mod and taking advantage of those options! Thanks @EnglishSimmer ! I am having a ton of fun watching this.

if you want one specific outfit for the host / chef / waiter each, you have to delete the other ones that are in place by default. if there is more than one outfit showing per type of employee, it means that the outfit will be chosen randomly(?) from the options. :)

I've been looking for this mod since I heard someone mention using it in their LP. But I had no idea who put it out so thanks for this video I can finally play Dine Out the way I've always wanted to.

I play sims with 3 sisters. They kinda need to be able to do everything together, so I need dine out to let them all work together; but I play on console.

I'm curious if the gurus wanted to do this, but it's another example of recycling the online engine + the issues they've tried to fix and I think gave up? Or thought we wouldn't like this. 🤔

It might be that Carl wants a challenge in the sims and sees it as a serious strategy game but maxis sees it more as a dolls house. A lot of simmers won’t want their sims restaurant to fail, so they won’t make it too challenging or complicated but modders will. This looks good to me but I see a lot of the playerbase wouldn’t actually like this, it looks a bit stressful.
