one golden pack equals to 400 gold which is 4 regular packs. Your dust value only tracks out with one regular pack. you are right tho, you do get more dust from gold.

I'm planning on only playing one class. I was going to dust all the cards from the other classes to collect as many of my class cards as possible (as well as neutrals). So would it be more economic and efficient to simply buy gold packs to disenchant to obtain my class cards?

Is the "garanteed first 10 packs legendary" pool independant between regular and gold packs ? Meaning, if I got a legendary by opening regular packs, do I still get a legendary through my first 10 gold packs ?

yes it is, you can extend it to wild gold packs as well, to get some extra gold legendarys and exchange them to standard legendaries.

Ow, that is a gamechanger for me. I always through golden packs to be a whale thing and only worth it it you want the signatures. And now you tell me it actualy brings more dust? I usually play only warrior and priest, and dust all other classes. Exept for commons because 5 dust is really nothing. But golden commons ones are like 10 times the regular dust value? Thanks!

Yeah when you are disenchanting golden packs are fire. Golden commons worth 10 times more, rares 5 times more and epics and legendaries 4 times more. If you are looking for dust Golden packs and minisets are the go-to. For example sure 70 dollars is a lot but a golden miniset worth 12000 dust instead of the 2500 of the normal miniset. You can do the math if you want, you can disenchant golden cards for the same dust amount that you need to craft normal cards. If you only think about the most basic pack draw you can get which is 4 commons and one rare a golden pack nets you 300 dust while the normal pack a pathetic 40… and then you also have higher chance for epics and legendaries with golden packs.

Great video, my pepega brain got most of it but just to be clear. I should open golden packs for the guaranteed legendary within the first 10 packs then just focus on normal packs? :D

Depends. Opening the golden pack for the golden legendary if you can afford it. If you're done most of your collection by then, then you can open golden packs. If you have a lot of your collection or you don't care about playing new decks then you can buy golden packs

Doesn't work that well for me tbh. I've noticed in the past that opening packs one by one instead of opening 10/20 at a time gives me worse cards.

so basically the main point of the video is that the first 2 golden packs of the expansion will guarantee a golden legendary?? i really didn't know that before.

It’s guaranteed within the first 10 packs if you haven’t purchased any packs from that expansion I believe, but you can get lucky and get it in the first openings.
