As someone who has searched the majority of my adult life for "the Truth" (nearly 20 years of it now), and never truly found the answer, and searching through religious and spiritual traditions, and even secular paths, being presented with the perspective of "Nature as God" is quite an "ah ha!" moment. Currently, I'm ascribed to European Pagan spirituality, not practice per se, but the idea of Nature (ie. the universe) as the central deity of my spiritual self. It never really clicked for me until now, listening to you speak about viewing "God" as merely a personification of Nature/The Universe/All Existence. Now, approaching it this way instead, even after investigating Sikhi before, having experienced that "Bliss of Oneness", I'm starting to understand what the Guru is saying. I definitely will be pursuing the Sikhi path in more depth now, knowing that this is what they practice. Especially considering that it's basically what all other religions have taught humans to believe. Thank you for this excellent series. I look forward to seeing more.

We live in a fast paced life. So many people are constantly in a rush from sunrise to sunset. We commonly forget our purpose in life because we have so many distractions around us. As for me, when I try to meditate, its hard to concentrate because my mind wanders. I wish there was way to shut down all distractions that occupy most of our time.

I think its impossible to be happy without depending on anything because even if we stay with Waheguru's Naam we are being dependent on it to give us hope and happiness. I find myself happy when I set some goals no matter how small they are to others and later in life when I achieve them I feel my soul is happy. But I think it would be very very hard not to depend on anything and be happy.

I agree that you don’t need people or objects to be happy but it’s such a hard concept to wrap your kind around because we live in a society where people need more and more and having less makes an individual uncomfortable and vulnerable and it feels like if you don’t look towards pleasure there’s nothing else to look forward to but at the same time distracting yourself isn’t a healthy way
