My dog is terrified of other dogs and will attack them if they get near so sometimes you have to think about other dogs, not just your own...

Most dogs loves leashes because it means it’s outside time or play time, unless is a young dog, which takes a while to get use to. Also there are some people that think their dogs is an angel but their dog behaves like the devil. I understand the owners frustration tho. Some people that live in the city or in a small house need to exercise their dogs somehow. Some dogs need more exercise than others like Huskies and Dalmatians aren’t a breed that tolerate to stray still all day. Leave them all day in your house and they will end up eating your furniture (speaking from experience).

While I see your point, you can ask someone politely to put their dog on a leash or be an entitled plonker about it, and this gentleman chose to do the latter. 'sides, if I nearly offed myself twice and got only the dog left in my world of misery, I wouldn't be inclined to give a shit either.

If my dog bit someone's hand then he would be put down which I think is fair. If someones dog isn't trained or can't be trusted then they should NEVER be off the lead in public. Not just that but also the owner has no excuse to own a dog that will bite someone because even dogs that are barely trained know not to do that.
