This is heartbreaking. We have just rescued Murphy, a dog found abandoned beside a garbage container in one of our city's neighborhoods. The condition he was in and the setting in which we discovered him unequivocally indicate that Murphy comes from a home. And not just any home, but one where he was watched over as his health progressively declined, only to be discarded when he became 'inconvenient.'
After finding Murphy in this horrific state, I handed him over to my brother, who promptly rushed him to our trusted veterinary hospital. The initial diagnostic tests are grim. His bloodwork and other analytics show severe dehydration, malnourishment, and overall decline, raising specific concerns about the state of his internal organs.
Murphy is not young, and his condition suggests a lifetime of neglect and loneliness. His exhaustion is palpable; he can barely lift his head. But when he does, his eyes-those soulful, expressive eyes-plead for help. And we intend to answer that plea.
Murphy's treatment is ongoing, and we are running more comprehensive tests to understand what we're up against. His care will be expensive, both medically and logistically.

We love in England where our Pets are mostly spoiled but we still give to a Dog Charity just in case but it's not just for Britain they can send it anywhere and my Daughter had a Pony which she doesn't ride anymore but she still pays for his upkeep and only children ride him now

PS we have places called Riding Schools where our Children can learn to ride and look after their Ponies, Clean their stalls and we have places where old Donkeys can retire when they are too old to work. Come to this Country and you might get some ideas but don't go to.America.because there is still a lot of the Wild West there where their Wild Horses were broken because they broke them by riding them to exhaustion

Dogs are the most loving abd loyal creatures on earth - they love us unconditionally, yet people treat them like they're disposable!! The deplorable condition of this poor little boy breaks my heart!! I'm praying for this sweet soul!!!

sometimes the shock on the dogs face and in their eyes when they see people are being nice to them and comforting honestly makes me break down in tears, they probably so use to hostile behaviours towards them they are just so stunned with pure hearted people. I found my puppy in a dumpster covered in maggots, she was the only survivor. We had her till she was sixteen years old best dog I ever had!

I wonder how come the care is so different there is the first one I watched who was so thorough & gentle with the babies. Now there's so many different persons with care that isn't the same.

Some of the ones who were more gentle have moved on from the practice. I miss them so much! But thankfully, There are some super caring, familiar faces there like Gigi, Anna (and her "twin". Not sure if they are twins...), Constant, and of course Isidor! The Benissa clinic is a fav of mine for sure!

When I watch the videos my rescue dog sits by me and I pet and love on her as I would if I could for the little one in the videos. She gets lots of extra loving every time I watch.

How many dogs are dumped in dumpsters and squashed by the garbage truck compacting the trash? People should always check their dumpsters daily, I heard of one that was pregnant and dumped in one. It was saved but there are too many low lives that take responsibility for nothing.

Love that WAAs is helping LA, but I believe it would benefit you LA more if instead of saying "Dogs of Viktor Larkhill", it also said "Dogs and Cats of Viktor Larkhill." That could be a reason why the video responses for cats are lower. I believe that since they are also rescued by LA, recognition for also needing help would be beneficial to the organization. The cats they have had have also come through some terrible situations thanks to LA!
