Dogs are smart - they figured out that if repetitively do something in front of humans, humans start to think and eventually figure out what the dog wants from them. So training goes both ways.

Or if they mimic human actions, they sometimes get human results from humans.

I love it! My neighbors dog is a Chihuahua and my baby is a Yorkie. She always comes to visit and play and have breakfast it’s so cute I can’t stand it.

i dogsat for a busy neighbor then when they came back from their trip i started stopping by when taking my dog to the park, & that dog was so happy to be talking long walks to park w/ us, he would jump up & down when we showed up. its so ez to make animals happy & such a pleasure to take the effort:)

So sweet. We once had a dog who would go next door to play with one of their dogs, and that dog would come over to play with her. That continued on for twelve years until our dog died as they would just spend time with each other. They were such friends the whole time.

A hood we lived in had back to back fences (no back alley). two neighbors had friendly dogs so they cut a gate between the two back fences and now each neighbor can open the gate to let the other dog come in and play for hours. so cute to watch!!

Best friends fur-ever. I love stories like this. Reminds me of my neighbors’ dogs. Our privacy fence had 3 knot holes and so all 3 of the neighbor dogs would sit at ‘their’ same hole and wait until I brought them treats. Love our furry friends.
