I believe that this fits the criteria for a near perfect sequel. Continuing the story, bringing back beloved characters with new arcs, expanding the universe, etc. Even the small touches of making the dogs pronounce certain words that add to the broader theme is genius.

My co worker would send me the original dog of wisdom all the time. He passed away a few years ago at a young age unexpectedly. I saw this and was going to share it to him but then I remembered. Thank you for this memory trip for me... RIP Joel, I miss you buddy.

My childhood... i had dog of wisdom 1 saved to an old crappy 60 dollar coolpad arise me and my family got them on a crazy deal and it lasted me a few solid years.
