That’s a lie. I travel to Denver all the time. They’re building everywhere. People are moving in from around the country. New businesses are opening up. True, like everywhere, their insurance rates are going up, but not like Florida’s.

I wasn’t able to open up your entire response, but I have several friends and associates who live in Denver. Some if them are lifelong residents. They’ve all advised that it’s growing. The US Census confirms what they’ve said about their growth. I’ll go with scientific evidence. Numbers don’t lie.

You are not correct. Service dog must be on leash except for seeing eye dog but they have a handle hardness as a restraint unless they are preforming the trained task in the moment. Otherwise they have to be leashed at all other times. Under the ADA it states: A service animal must be under the control of its handler. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability (ex. paralyzed on a wheelchair) prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks.

PARK RANGER, they are in the park, that’s their job. Off leash is a problem, due to people complaining to 311. I’m not sure why you appear upset. Are you walking your dog with out a leash?

Park rangers don't handle street crimes. That's city police or the sheriff. Know your types of law enforcement. These park rangers don't have 100% police powers nor they are armed.

yup, follow the money! or lack thereof! these bastards… let people exercise their dogs and they won’t be so agressive! and they are not! i am in cheesman park almost everyday and there are lots and lots of dogs running and playing and i never see altercations.

@@zherin2063 They SHOULD be fining people for this. I'm just pointing out the slackness of it up until now. Unleashed dogs are a safety concern on multiple levels. I've seen unleashed dogs run into traffic and cause accidents. We had a guy at work get bitten by a "service dog" recently (that's the next thing they need to crack down on). You can go to an enclosed dog park if you want to run them off leash. And, you can exercise them plenty on-leash.

Well it may not be the biggest but many offenders of a simple law.

Colorado is creepy. No one from Colorado has a masters it seems like. It’s just a trash state. You should go to a classy city.

I work in park and rec as well and we are dealing with the same thing on my side. These dogs owners are ruthless and don't care about other people safety's. Every time we do educational enforcement they act entitled and in the right even we read the law out loud to them. These Denver park rangers are doing the things in the right to make sure dog owners are obeying leash laws again. Once again, there is a sense of entitlement from these dog owners.

I want my dog to be safe from unleashed dogs, maybe a ticket will get it through peoples heads that it’s a against the law for a reason.

Than don’t make the data freely available. It’s no different from people taking photos in public.

Buy a custom leash then, they have leashes for lions and tigers. There is no dog "too big" for a leash

Not all dogs get along together, why even chance an issue.

It's considered Rude behavior. We had off leash dogs interrupted people's picnics and knock down their picnic items plus their food at one of my parks.
