Giving deserving pups the best day of their lives, one incredible story at a time.
When Tazo suffered a traumatic back injury, his former owners weren't able to treat it, which eventually left him paralyzed. He was surrendered to NYC shelter, Animal Haven, who realized this quirky character just needed to find the right home.
Moved by Tazo's story, we teamed up with the pup lovers at Natural Balance to give Tazo the best day of his life! Including every shelter pup's dream - a new home!

I like how at the start it crosses off "Dog" in "Dog's Best Day" and wrote Tazo. He is not just a dog, he is Tazo. He is A Tazo. He is THE Tazo. We must become one with the TAZO

My dachshund had a horrible back injury and she started dragging her legs and eventually we got her a wheelchair just like Tazo. :) I Hope Tazo lives a wonderful life

Before my family got our first Chihuahua named bandit he was abused and scared of humans but he came over it and I think he definitely need a best day ever!

Eileen, I envy you so much.... Tazo will give you back double fold all the love you give him. I did not know such work was done by the Water4dogs clinic. Wonderful facilties. "Let's go home" is all a shelter dog wants to hear.

I thought I wouldn't cry but I'm crying a river because I had a service dog once she was paralyzed in the front but 1 day we were playing in the yard and she went running and was hit by a car and now I'm just...ok now seeing other people with the same joy I had I'm currently applied to hopefully get me a new best friend!

Now that Tazo has a rehab plan and an owner, it's up to her to keep up with that plan. He looks such a sweet boy and the hydrotherapy will help him.

I have a daschund just like Tazo and it really makes me sad.Sine my dog has the same colors as Tazo,it really makes me want to cry that dogs suffer through injuries like this but end up becoming strong.I do hope Tazo is in a good home right now and that his previous owners are more financially stable as it isn't their fault they couldn't treat him.Sometimes,money can't come out of nowhere. Also,it's cute when daschunds crawl under your blankets ^_^

This happens to my little wiener dog. He looked exactly like Tazo his name was Spade. His back legs got paralyzed but we had to put him down. 😭😭😭😭 I miss you so much Spade you where the best dog ever!!!! RIP

Tazo, how does someone let a so called loved pet become this bad.......cant the vet have taken payments, something!! I love seeing dogs who were once abused, sad, abounded, etc......being loved an living a great life, with great people! i forgot how old i was but i think i was 5 i remember the day that my dad took my dog to the vet but my dog didnt make it so that day on nothing could make me happy uantill i got over it
