The dog looked like it was depressed in the shelter because it missed her pos owners. So sad...

I spent days laying with my dog when my other one passed. We comforted eachother this story just makes me want to beat them with a small pipe.

Right? What do they expect? They didn’t get depressed when their dog died? Or what about their family if someone dies? They won’t get depressed?

A few people I know that work at the animal shelter said one time a family sent their male German Shepherd dog to the shelter after the family said the dog got really depressed from the dogs best friend which was a 3 year old cat that died from FIP. The family said they was always together ever since the cat was a little tiny kitten and they played and slept together all the time. The dog got so happy when the family showed up over 8 months later to the animal shelter but they wasn't there to get their dog back and instead they got another dog which was a small Chihuahua and as soon as they left that male German Shepherd became severely depressed making cry sounds constantly for days on end to the point that he wouldn't eat at all and rarely would drinks water and then the male German Shepherd died just 5 days later after seeing his family reject him for another dog. It's just so sad because the dog was doing perfectly fine for 8 months and then dies in just 5 days after being rejected by his family....

I think that was just an excuse. They probably don't want her after she "GREW UP" big & it's very questionable how the other dog died

And your parents went there to get a child instead of making one. Then they see you there (you get excited) and they completely ignore you. HOW just HOW in the world would you feel?? The adoption place only gives one meal a day, you sleep on concrete floor, and have to stay there until you get adopted. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?

Imagine if you had siblings that yours died and as a result of the depression you were in due to grief, your parents decided to send you away to a shelter, then they come to the shelter one day after all the emotions of abandonment by them, just to realize they came to take another child home instead of you.... because that's exactly what this dog was put through by their actions.

I live in New York state and I know that the Niagara County and Erie County SPCAs will not allow you to adopt an animal if you have ever surrendered one there they will check your information in the system..I know a lot of animal rescuers will not let you take an animal from them if you've ever given them an animal either..

My dog was a rescue from a family member that got the dog from a rescue place! Because their other dog passed away suddenly and wanted another one to eventually getting board with the dog and leaving the dog In his cage 247 only to come out to go to the bathroom and groomed! He barely got any attention! One day I was up at their house and they said they had a dog to get rid of! I saw the dog and fell in love with him he was a beautiful white and brown Pomeranian! I couldn’t just leave him so the next day I took him home! The poor guy didn’t even know his own name nothing they were also giving him huge big dog food! I took him home and now he has the best life ever he sleeps with me and everything! His life sure changed for the better! I don’t understand how people can be so cruel and heartless everytime I think about losing my fur baby that turned 7 in March I start to cry he is my baby my everything I love Him to death! I would do anything for him!
