It’s clear that it was not about the money. He didn’t want his children to be hurt and have to suffer. Sadly, she seems like a sweet lady, and obviously misses the dog, but in her haste, she didn’t make a wise decision, & she has to live with that. All this time spent harassing this man could’ve been spent finding another sweet little puppy or older dog, as she originally wanted, who would definitely have filled that spot in her heart. She has to realize the world doesn’t revolve around her and that his family shouldn’t have to suffer just so she isn’t sad anymore based on her own decisions.

I would never give up my cats. But a sale is a sale. You can't go back and ask a complete stranger for your puppy back after it's all said and done. First off the dog seems to be with a really good family and I’m happy they are enjoying him ,as far as the plaintiff, it’s nothing she can do about it just because you regretted selling the dog doesn’t mean you get to pop up and say oh I want it back , just accept the additional 500 to complete the sale that she declined at first and either get another dog or just move on as hard as it may be for her that’s the only options she has. I would never give up my animals. They are what give me a reason to get out of bed each day. I know her son and daughter-in-law thought that they were giving her good advice to get rid of the dog. They thought it was too much for her. But having something to care for gives your life purpose. I hope she gets another dog. I would suggest a small dog and an adult dog. I used to have German shepherds. Now I have chihuahuas.
