I have been blessed with multiple Danes and they are the best! Their loyality is second to none and when it comes to protecting the family or any child that may be near by they are the best. We had one who decided she was going to babysit our friends children whle we were visiting. When the kids were put down for a nap, the Dane went from room to room to check on them, pulling the door to as she left. When my wife, whom the kids loved, went to check on the kids when the mother ran to the store, our dane would not even let her close to the children until the mother returned.

I now have my 7th Dane (4th rescue). They have all been wonderful babies. I can't imagine life without a Dane in it. I guess they fit into my family!

I watched this video with my Great Dane, Lucy. We both loved it! She likes to spend her days watching out over my apartment parking lot and dog park. She is the best dog in the whole world. Had to get a king sized bed so we could all fit :D. I love her so much.

My Papaw had at least 5 over his lifetime to watch his property. They are great with grandkids at least from my perspective. Poppy would want me to ride her when I was like 4 or 5 and could hold on. She was massive. No one was going to hurt me when Poppy, Locket, Blondie, Jack, or Loper were near me.

So if Scooby Doo was a real dog he would be a fawn color and have a marking on his face.

That one photo is of Gold Medalist Diver, Greg Louganis NOT Racing Driver, Mario Andretti. As far as timidness, they can be intimidated by strange sights or sounds. Great Danes can be fraidy cats.

yep ❤ when my daughter inlaw and my son brought amy home into our lives first thing was what ,why she said I needed to feel safe , so now she feels safe and now they don't need the dog anymore now they are growing so now no time in their life for Amy now mum and dad and mother ,father inlaw will not give up our x breed great dane yes watch that tail around grandkids its leathal but control who comes first into your house yes they love sitting on you yes they love smooching you yes they are couch potatoes and yes they need exercise I put amy in my little ford car her head out the window she knows where were going because I let her be herself she sniffs I'm in the car because my of my knrree but she knows I can't run or walk far but my darling Amloves what I do for her while I'm running with her beside me in a car exercising my darling great beautiful great dane ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You cant get a better dog i love them sadly i lost mine i would have another won in a hart beat my great Dane was deaf and you could not geat any more loving dog i would take another deaf one .
