after effects has a particle world effect where you can create different shapes n things, then apply various motions to them. They just happened to have one of a 3D triangle, so I used that then color coded it to red and orange hues.

What the hell did I just watch, and why was it so awesome... And wasn't I wearing pants when this video started?
