Eufy is great! They are paying attention to what consumers want. Wireless, solar, infinite battery life with solar, no monthly fees, and local non cloud based storage! Amazing how I found this video 20 days after purchasing and install all my Ring devices and now I wish I had found this video last month. Seems like a pretty awesome system that would have been great for my property, woodshed and residence. Great narration, explanation and speed of voice. Nice job!

Been a Eufy fan from when Anker first started the line. Since then, their product offerings have blown up. I own many of their security cam devices as well as their appliances. They have definitely given what consumers want like no monthly service fees (only optional), local storage owned by the consumer, AI detection, two way talk, and much more without the extra ongoing costs. Eufy's on the right track, hope they keep it up!

Eufy got it right with the no subscription cost option. I have several eufy camera's and this Homebase has the options that may make it worthwhile to purchase. Great review!

I recently purchased the Eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro and I can’t be happier. I wanted a security system that was self reliant, with great cameras and tracking capabilities all with no monthly fees. And boy did Eufy exceed my expectations. The cameras clarity surpassed my old Lorex system and I didn’t need as many cameras and wires to capture the front of my home. I’m saving now to expand my Eufy system with their 4k cameras and smart door lock. Eufy definitely has my vote for Security system of the Year!

Thanks for comparing the old and new eufy resolutions !! Eufy makes the greatest cameras and bringing back integration with homebase is definitely a plus . Just wish they had a program which you could trade in older cams for the new ones. I’m always trying to keep up with them !! Great technology

Just what I need for my home at North Carolina. I live at New York and travel once a year to NC. I've received the false alarms, as well as one guy looking under my mat for spare keys. it's really really very stressful when you so far away you can't do nothing. Will definitely love to have this Eufy product especially the three bundles. Will be recommending it to family as well as friends.

This system has many features that I like. My neighbor has the previous version of this system. He loves it. I have been researching my options and find that this one looks like a winner.

I’ve been a Eufy user for years, I tried at least a half dozen other companies, everything from Ring to no name cheap as hell, and settled strongly on Eufy. In fact, one of my favorite gifts for family and friends is Eufy and Anker products (same company). Great products.

Eufy makes great products. When we shopped for a robot vacuum we bought their 30c, when everyone we knew was buying a competitive brand. Products are very intuitive and functional. This is a great video on the new Eufy security system. I really appreciate this video and contest. My wife is currently deployed for the next year and we have 3 kids. Eufy is at the top of my wish list. This package would really give us a peace mind knowing our kids will be safer when they get home from school while I'm at work.

I moved into my new home about a year ago and I’ve been doing research on security systems since I’ve moved in . I’ve been watching the KZfaq reviews from (do it yourself dad) and I am convinced that eufy security system would be a good fit for my new homes. Love the $0 monthly fees and AI detection. My furbo cam sends me “person” alerts which I’ve wanted on a true home security camera. No more security alert fatigue which leads to ignoring alert messages. Just bought a new home and I’m definitely going with the Eufy cams.

Pretty cool...I currently use the Blink security system with no monthly fee. The thing that bugs me the most is the fact that I have to change the batteries at least once a month, for normal use security footage. Thumbs up to Eufy for this solar solution. Excited about the drawing, thanks!

Absolutely love Eufy products. I’ve had the eufyCam 2C Pro for a while and the only thing I don’t enjoy is having to charge the cameras every couple of weeks. Solar charging would make a world of difference! Great to see Eufy offer solar units now!

The expandable hard drive is awesome on the base 3! Hoping they will offer bundles even with some of the older cameras with the new base station so it doesn't have to be bought separately/individually.

I was just starting to look into setting up a security system as a first-time homebuyer and love that this new line came out just as I started looking. This covers a lot of gaps I was seeing with the Eufy line by unifying their products and allowing for a ton more on-site storage!

As one DIY Dad to another, thanks for covering these new products from Eufy. Their new version 3 hub seems like a game-changer. I only wish more of their products interfaced with the new hub so they could benefit from the advanced features on the hub. I'm on the fence about getting a wired vs. wireless system but if I get a wireless system, it will most likely be a Eufy.

Does the HomeBase 3 include "battery backup" as the HomeBase "pseudo 1" T8001 did?

I have been using the Eufy 2K Video Doorbell and the EufyCam 2 Pro 2K Outdoor Cameras since their release in mid-2020. I have not only been very pleased with and impressed by my Eufy cameras, I have also been extremely impressed by Eufy’s continuous product improvement program and new product development program. Not only does Eufy provide excellent support, but I have found that the overseas engineers are very conscientious with following-up on bug reports as well as feature enhancement or deployment suggestions that I offered. I have highly recommended Eufy cameras to many others. I have been hoping that Eufy would introduce 4K outdoor cameras! I would be elated to be the recipient of the collection of Eufy’s great new home security products which you and Eufy are offering!

Very good review! Great work. I have to say that the license plate issue is a major issue at night :( Wonder if other cameras could pick it up. We are having issues with thieves at night in the area...so if we cannot pick up the plate, it is quite useless.

Didn't Eufy just get caught lying about keeping all your data local? That their cameras actually were sending images to Eufy servers and that unencrypted video content was available through the Internet with no authentication? The Verge, Linux Tech Tips and others reported this back in November. One would expect an "honest review" would at least mention this fact.

Love the Eufy Camera system I have 8 Cameras inc. 3 of the 365-day battery cams that lasted 1yr 3 months b/4 needing a recharged. Looking to UPGRADE to the new 4K Solar Powered Setup. Up to16 TB of storage is outstanding, very glad to hear that my older Cameras will still work with the new base station!!

Just got my first Eufy product! My neighbor's car got stolen right from his driveway, so picked me up an amazing Eufy floodlight camera to place over my garage capturing the driveway. It's a great device! It has quality 2k video, two-way talk, siren, on-board storage, and AI. Looking forward to adding more Eufy cameras. I love the on site storage!

Just for giggles, I tried to set up my base using the Ethernet socket in my Xfinity pod. It worked!

Just recently my Honda stock wheels were stolen left my car on center blocks. I live in a neighborhood in the Bay Area. Just the last 2 years tons of crime break ins, home invasions, muggings unsafe for the elderly. So I bought two of the SoloCam S40. When my husbands car was broken into we realized the need for a security camera system. I have loved the Eufy system. In large part because it is not a cloud based system. Can't wait to get the new homebase 3 and some 4K cameras. Xmas can't get here fast enough.

I have a house load of Arlo for my business cameras and I’m so disappointed and I have 13 of them. I recently bought Eufy cam 3 with hardware. I bought two of them and the hub and connected. It were my Arlo’s would not work and it’s absolutely stunning. I’m so impressed thank you Eufy. I will be replacing my Arlos.

I've been a fan of Eufy for a long time. Just love the fact that a cloud subscription is not required. Backward compatibility with previous Eufy products is just the icing on the cake.

Thanks for the great review. We've had some local break-ins recently so I've been looking for a system that's easy to install, reliable, and good quality. There are a lot of choices out there all with different functions, abilities, and cost. It seems that Eufy has taken note of the competition, listened to its customers, and come up with the best of the bunch. It's so nice to find a company that doesn't sell you the goods and then forces you to pay them extra to monitor everything for you. Thanks to Eufy I have found the system for me.

Eufy in 4K looks like a great system. A.I. looks way better than any other security system, too. No monthly fees will be the best.

Very good information, I’m looking for my next security cameras to replace a ring setup. We also have four xfinity cameras that have been a real problem as the security cameras don’t have night vision control so I have to aim the camera at a parking structure Light bulb too make sure the night vision does not activate blurring the image cause the cameras are behind glass at nighttime. Also, the audio is distorted for the front door and patio outside cameras. Ring cameras motion alerts are late and both the Xfinity Cameras and two Ring cameras are on separate applications so you have to switch between the two apps just to use the cameras. I live in a apartment, ground floor and corner unit right in front of the main drive through roads I’ve had my door and patio door both attempted to access by outside transients, We have had vehicle break ins, Solar panel lights stolen, car set on fire, fights and on top of us using the cameras, everyone that lives in the apartments if they have had a car break in or something else happen that is in front of our cameras. They are coming to our door asking if they can have the footage we don’t have this happen very much but it’s nice to have a sharing of the footage if possible. this is my families you could try a new camera system that is capable of these things, and is one system that would be great. I would love to win the prize.

I am buying my first duplex and have been looking into security systems that won’t cost an arm and a leg in subscription or monthly costs. This seems like the best one on the market at the moment and is actually exciting me with the solar powered portion. I think the system is great. Just ordered the home base 3. I love the fact that everything is locally stored and expandable. Of course the most important thing is that all my other Eufy equipment is able to be added to the the new home base 3, not obsolete which makes this a game changer.

Thank you, live in a rural area in Az, most of the parcels are 20 acres plus. We have to keep vigilant. This morning my nearest neighbor called and said two vehicles were parked at my gate, this was 6:12 AM and still dark. The neighbor is quarter mile away and when they saw him they drove off in a hurry (mile of dirt road to pavement). So spending the evening looking over what system is affordable.

I have been using Eufy for awhile I bought the floodlight and the indoor camera it’s great! You can connect the cameras to your own NVR. It a consumer thinking company. Customer service is one of the best. My flood light had water seal issue, the dome would be full with rain water after a rain, but customer support and service was smart, not scripted like most customers services. Got my flood light replaced quick and fast.

Great video. This would be great for my Mother-in-law. She lives by herself and is a bit jumpy at night. The solar cameras are great. Thanks again.

I’m a big fan of the Eufy camera system but definitely you are the most person I’ve watched to really describe and get down to details about it . I have a house that is 2400 ft.² and the camera will definitely be utilized for this dark areas at night ( backyard ), but definitely light is covering all around the house,not too many trees looking forward of getting this in the future . I have a home base 2 kit now with a doorbell I love that they will still use the old cameras. I plan on asking for this setup for a Christmas present. Of course if I win the contest that won't be necessary. The hard drive is a nice feature too although I don't think I will need a very large one. I have been pleased with the system I have but have been thinking of adding some more cameras and this will be a great way to do it. I also love the solar. Nice review, well done!

Been wanting to try Eufy and upgrade our outdoor security cams. It's a hassle to unmount and recharge. Loving that they listen to consumers and offer quality products.
