Hi, I'm confused why you would need a battery when its a wired model? On the website, the wired unit without a battery seems to me that it won't use the existing chime? Very confusing....The wired model shows some chime that plugs in an outlet... I'm I missing something? Also how many users can use the app? thx
@DoItYourselfDad10 сағат бұрын
The wired (non battery model) bypasses the chime in your house and pulls power from the doorbell transformer. With the battery version it trickle charges off the doorbell transformer and allows you to use your existing chime.

Oh…. You can use the same login with as many users/devices as you need. You can also setup multiple accounts and share your devices to other accounts if you want to be able to limit what the other users can do/change with your devices.

I have Eufy E340 and Eufy S340 (2 of Each). I replaced some PTZ cameras from several years ago that had blistered in the sunlight under high temperatures. The video that you have presented is excellent. Eventually, I intend to get the hard drive station to record with a hard drive and connect to my router. I agree that you explained the two cameras' characteristics, advantages, and similarities. The installation process was straightforward; comparatively, too many items that I have purchased in the past sometimes don’t have clear instructions. The application that goes with the program is marvelous and very easy to work with. I installed these cameras about 30 days ago and saw this video on KZfaq. You did a great job, and I wish you the best in explaining some of these items to homeowners and families concerned about the day-to-day observations needed in almost any neighborhood. Well presented. Good luck. (I used Grammarly AI to clean up the writing - a Berkeley Haas tool)

Im not super familiar with winter covers as we don't winterize pools where I live (doesn't get cold enough to have to deal with freezing). I haven't seen a method to use a roller on a winter cover.

Last summer we actually put in a salt water in ground pool, so the one in this video is now living in my parents pool, we got the salt one for our new pool. Both are holding up well, we did need to recalibrate the one at my parents house but both are reading fairly accurately. I still double check its readings from time to time with a drip test kit.

Why does affordable printers have so stupidly small build area? I mean for 50 extra USD you should be able to get like 50x50x50 (cm) at least. It's just slightly more material cost to scale up the size, right?! Also, why can't they print pellets. Filament is too expensive for what you get. A scam.
@DoItYourselfDad3 күн бұрын
While I'd love something that big I don't know how much of an actual market there would be for something of that size. The build plate would swings out past the base of the printer by quite a bit making the footprint of printer larger than most hobbyists would have room for. My larger printer (LK5 PRO) wont fit on a standard workbench, I had to build an extension for it) As far as pellets, I've seen some printers working with pellets recently, and they are getting better, so we'll see what the future holds.

Can the light be disabled for the S340/solar camera? If I wanted it to be hidden and stealth? My wife is home alone in our cabin deep in the woods at night while I'm at work. I just need something that notifies my phone if someone is approaching the house. No wiring option, so the S340 seems like the first camera to get if I wanted to add more and a base station in the future. I'm hoping our satellite internet will be enough to keep it running. Thanks!
@DoItYourselfDad3 күн бұрын
Yes, the light can be disabled and you can set the camera up to just run with night vision instead. If connectivity is an issue I am currently playing around with one of their cameras that connects via WIFI but can also use cellular data as well.
