Hey friends,
this is part 5 of my little series "ToyGaudi fun in Swizerland". I visited my friend ‪@vintagegaudi‬ in Swizerland and together we traveled through the country, hit up thrift stores (called "Brocki" over there), visited the amazing Barbie store "Think Pink" and went toy hunting at the biggest Swiss-German flea market.
Every week I will drop 1 or 2 episodes of this little series. :) Have fun.
I guess it will be around 8 or 9 videos all together.

Oh my goodness that store is amazing! I’m from the US but I have students at my work who were talking about how they’re going on vacation in Switzerland next week and I was fighting the urge to be like “There’s an incredible barbie store there! here’s money to buy me a vintage Francie!!” What an amazing experience!

@@Frodis_LPS Oh yes!!! 🤩 I'm not even sure how many stores like this excist in the world. Over in the US you have many antique malls and indoor flea markets where vendors have dedicated booth space and lots of them specialize in Barbies but a whole store? And it's so cozy and welcoming. Haha~ here is my money 💸 bring me Barbies 😆 not sure what your students would think 😂😂😂 But Swizerland is definitely worth a journey even without the store 💖👍

Absolutely!!! I feel very lucky that I had the chance to visit💗💗💗 But it's a whole travel day away from me😂 So I will not visit very often😝 My friend Selina Vintagegaudi is lucky since she lives pretty close to it. 1 or 2 hours away by car.

But here in this video I also made mistakes and some Barbies could not identify😅 it was too much at once.🙈 The doll sitting in a chair where I said she might be the Sweet Sixteen Barbie, is actually a Delux Quick Curl Barbie🙊 and the TNT which I was guessing might be a talker, is definitely not a talking Barbie. They have a different hairstyle. And the doll with the blue mermaid tail is simply Ski Fun Barbie. Her face just looks similar to Gymnast Barbie.🤦🏼‍♀️ Yeah... I found that all out later when I was not filming😂

14:11 Yes! Teen Time Skipper & Courtney Sleep'n Study set. I had it as a child and I loved it! Gave it away when I was in high school, but really regretted doing that later on. I was lucky to find one new in box in Spain a couple of years ago! 😁

It's surreal to see Think Pink shop, it's been now a month!😱 Yes, I agree the shop incredible and I felt overwhelmed checking different eras of Barbies! It's cool to see the very old Barbies in-person.💕 It was incredible luck we met at the shop! 😳OH WOW!!!!!! I wasn’t going to log on today, especially because I caught a bug that’s been going around. I haven’t been able to keep up with my KZfaq subscriptions, but here I am, at your channel!!!!! You definitely got me back on here with the 🩷🩷❕❕😍 I own that same exact doll trunk you’re pointing out @ 9:20!!!!!!!! I have a couple of ‘80s pink doll trunks that would fit Barbies & one ‘70s Kenner Darci Trunk, but this one here is meant for ‘74 Tuesday Taylor by Ideal, a doll I own multiples of and love!!!! The trunk opens up into two spacious compartments, with bottom storage spaces and rails for hanging clothes and accessories, and it comes in white with this same illustration and color way, and I’ve also seen an all white with an all blue illustration and color way. My trunk is not quite as minty as this, but it’s a beaut I purchased as part of a larger doll lot that I was blown away by!!!! If you love pre-1980s dolls, this trunk is treasure! LOLLLLL, I actually have a modern-made JEM necklace and a vintage Strawberry Shortcake necklace and bracelet!!🌈🍓 Thank you for sharing with us this wonderful place!!!!!

I have heard of that doll line and seen them in a couple of other videos. They are super beautiful dolls👌💗💗💗 I try to not go older than the 80s with most toylines. I would end up with way too much stuff. I'm already making an exception with Barbie 🙈 But if I would come across one and recognized it, I probably could not leave her behind. Already the trunk was so pretty 💛💛💛 Cool there are even variations of it. Thank you 💗💗💗

Ein wahres Schlaraffenland. So wundervoll und ich sah in dem Videos Barbies, die kannte ich noch gar nicht. Ich finde es auch so schön, das man sich dort in Ruhe hinsetzen kann und ganz gemütlich rausfinden kann, welche Barbie welche ist. Und die Besitzerin des Ladens ist super lieb und macht auf mich einen sehr sympatischen Eindruck! Ich liebe es mittlerweile auch sehr Barbies zu indentifizieren, auch wenn ich bei einer seit Wochen Probleme habe haha. Auf jeden Fall wieder ein super tolles Video!

OMG almost a month ago 😅 time flys😂 or I am just slow with putting out the videos😬 But more than 2 per week is not pysically possible for me.😅 Yes, it is so nice revisiting the experience 💗💗💗 I wish I could come to the summer party but it's not possible. Too expensive, the travel takes too long, I can't take any additional holiday at work and my mom celebrates birthday that weekend.🙈 But hopefully some time next year or so 💪

Ich weiß nicht, ob es irgendwo in der Welt nochmal solch einen Laden gibt.❓ Das ist schon sehr speziell 😊💗💗💗 Ich weiß ja nicht genau, wo ihr in Österreich wohnt, aber vielleicht ja gar nicht so weit von der Schweizer Grenze? Der Laden ist ja am Bodensee, der ja an alle 3 Länder grenzt. Für mich auf jeden Fall sehr weit weg 😂😂😂

I am from Canada, I found my first Jazzie doll at a Garage sale for $2.00, didn't know who she was at the time, I just knew it was from mattel and she had the Heart family mom face but a different body. I have 5+ Jazzie dolls now. I just Love her, I also have her friends.

Maybe one or 2 that I did not notice😅 Vampire Ken 😂😂😂 I really wonder if he is a vintage one that just discolored or a reproduction that was purposfully produced in white? 🤔 OMG 🤯 I would die for a My Little Pony store 🤩❣❣❣ (not literally though😂)

This store is so lovely, I just wanna visit! 😍 If I were there I would spend a whole day there easily. How many Barbies were you forced to leave that you actually would have buy if you had no money-limit?

It's not only a money limit I would give me. It's also a quantities limit. I get overwhelmed easily when I come home with too many toys I have to clean and restore and style etc. So I could have bought more of the cheaper dolls (90s 80s dolls without original outfit and unstyled). There were many I did not have. Instead I left some of them and instead went with a few of the higher priced ones. If money was no barrier at all I would have bought more dolls of the Mod era (late 60s TNT dolls with lashes) 😉

@@LauSkypainter I know exactly what you mean, me too have limited with space... I think you did right that chose fewer dolls that were a little more expensive and probably not easy to find on flea markets than a lot of cheap dolls that you hopefully will find on your flea market hunts. 😊 The TNT MOD Barbies are so pretty with their real eyelashes, wish I had one. I had one MOD Barbie with real eyelashes once (I don't think she was a TNT though) but I sold her... I regret it know... and how cheap she was when I bought her and I sold her way too cheap... I do stupid things all the time, I try to learn from my mistakes and not to repeat them but sometimes it's hard. I have sold so many things that I regret. 😔 Do you clean all your Barbies and ponies, even the ones that are in really good condition? I'm curious about that cuz I clean all my things one way or another. I have OCD so it's make me wanna clean everything.

That shop seems like its been made for you Nice that you even got some goodies. Did you also get the backwards printed image? Because i think it might be a tshirt print. Depending on what you use those images have to be mirrored in order to he transferred correctly. Anyway this also made ne curious (Btw yt didn't notify me this time. I was waiting for it yesterday but since no notification popped up i missed it and so i watched it today)

About Claudia's doll. Its such a shame that mattel couldnt represent her better. I love Claudia and as far as I remember they did super limmited edition claudia barbie in golden Versace dress. That was pretty close to Claudia. But this edition in blue just NO
