A perfect pop song, one of my Dollar singles that should have been another Top Ten. A great pairing of beauty and handsome, and the dancing and other interaction is really charming. The nature backdrops that look a like a sunlight reflected sea in the sky and so on are excellent, too. The matching yellows of fashion look great on Thereza. (Pretty smiles, legs and knees, too.) The parts nearly half way through when Thereza slides into view, David nudges her down but she slides back again smiling are adorable. Bravo to Thereza Bazar and David Van Day for the writing and production on this! Trevor Horn may have been a great teacher, but they clearly had the major talent in the first place as well. America here really missed out in not welcoming Dollar into the top hit charts. But I was determined to follow their career the best I could, seeking out import records and UK fan magazines, then shopping in London. It was great to see them in Hyde Park later in 1986.

I liked their music back in the day and still do. Catchy foot tapping tunes . Still better than any of the Xfactor trash of today.

Ditto. I like their other self penned tracks on the Dollar Album too, Guessing Games, Anyone Who’s Anyone and Second Time Around are great. Fab synths and drumming.

This is as good as any of the Trevor Horn produced tracks. The vocal arrangement is fantastic. They had more talent than anyone gave them credit for. The synth sounds make it sound a bit more dated than the Horn produced tracks, which stand the test of time a bit better.
