In this Dollar Tree Farmhouse Painted Pumpkins, I take Dollar Tree carvable pumpkins on the first one crackle it and the second one I paint and then dry brush it to create a beautiful piece of farmhouse Fall decor. I show how easy and inexpensive it is to decorate your home using items from the Dollar Tree.
WHEN YOU CRACKLE THE PUMPKIN MAKE SURE YOU PAINT IT FIRST BEFORE YOU APPLY THE GLUE. THEN PAINT OVER THE GLUE WITH YOUR FINAL COLOR.
To crackle: Paint with FolkArt Metallic Chocolate Brown then put Elmer's glue over paint when dry. Next whileglue is still tacky paint with APPle Barrel toasted marshmallow.
To paint pumpkin: paint with Apple Barrel toasted marshmallow then dry brush with FolkArt metallic royal gold. (or paint of your choice)
