I still say fungalitis and my family all die laughing. I've ALWAYS said "Innards." That's what we called the insides to pumpkins when we were kids. We would scoop out the innards and have pumpkin innard fights in the back yard. We were feral in the 80's.

Hi Mary, You are so right. All the Dollar Trees I would go to would not have most of the stuff I see on KZfaq. Heck, I can't even find any candle holders, Fish bowls, etc. All the Dollar Trees I go to usually have a bunch of junk that we crafters don't even use. Dollar Tree went up on pricing, but they don't have most of the stuff they always kept stocked.

Hi Vivian I have been using the eraser for years and I cam across this one a few days ago at Dollar Tree. It worked just as good as the more expensive ones. If you have a little glue on your craft, use this with a little tapping motion and it will pick that glue up. Use on paper, on scissors and other little tools that may have some sticky residue on them from tape.

Denise, Always keep a bottle of Goo Gone spray Gel. I scrape the label a little bit, then spray a little on the area and let sit for about ten minutes. Everything wipes off.

HOME TIP for that rubber cement eraser! Use it to buff out shoe scuff marks and small things stuck to your floors.

The little square eraser is called a "pick-up" and it is used to pick up the excess rubber cement when you glue something with rubber cement. We used to buy it in college for classes where we had to build things (rooms, houses, displays from rubber cement and mat board or foam core). It was a good buy!

Thank you for brightening an otherwise dark day once again! I am disabled, and I saw someone else saying exactly the same words that I'm about to say, and that is, you do more for me than you know. I am pretty much housebound other than doctors appointments, and am alone, other than home health aides for few hours a week. This is so helpful if you show something I want ( which is usually MOST of it, and I think that has a lot to do with how you are, and so great at being you!) If there's anything at our stores that is. I try to get done what I need to get done, as quickly as I can so that I can start scrolling to see what you're up to and even app watch past additions because I just came across to you about a week ago. Thank you Vivian for the joy you bring to me, almost daily ❤ Wish I could become a subscriber fan,but just not enough to go around, being a single disabled Mum, but maybe someday🌺!

Lady, I'm going to need to keep a notepad with all the great items I want to try and find at my Dollar Tree! The little LED flashlight is perfect for an overnight I have planned this Summer for our little girl. I have a really neat "egg" with a colorful, full ceiling, display, she turns on, nightly. Now, if I can find this flashlight, I won't need to pack it and try to find a way to keep it plugged in for our trip to Mammoth Cave! Thank you!! 💝

Vivian: those contact lens cases are also the perfect containers for foundation and skin care. I can store 7 days worth of foundation in just one eye of the case . You can stack multiples in your 3-1-1 so you can make makeup and skin care carryon friendly. (There is also a medical exception for carryon liquids-contact lens solution is exempt. )

I was about to say something similar. I've found some really cute cases at DT. Like I have a cute yellow one with a bee on one side and honey comb on the other that I keep in my purse with a pair of backup earrings and several spare backings because I hate when I'm going out and forget my earrings or lose a backing. I also love them as little mini pill containers or for makeup/skin care in my purse or for short trips that don't require a lot. Gets you lots of variety without taking up a ton of space (especially when flying!!).

OK, I have literally been searching for those magnetic hooks from Dollar Tree for _months...quite possibly even for a year_ now. Because you were so kind to include footage of you picking them up, I now realize that I've probably been looking in the wrong aisle‼😲 Also, such a brilliant idea to create a vision board using that round multi-picture holder/"frame"❣ You've inspired me to consider using it in my home office for my lists, and/or planning/mapping/mood boarding.🥰 Those contact lens cases are also great for traveling/carrying stud earrings, jewelry for other piercings, and rings. Vivian, The glue and residue eraser can be used in your paper crafting to remove excess glue runner that would otherwise leave the edges of your work sticky...you know...the bit of glue runner that sometimes sticks out between the paper layers and is sticky...you just rub it away with that eraser. I have used these for YEARS...I paid a lot more for them.

So glad to hear this since my sister does paper crafts and makes a lot of cards. She often glues something to a card and her fingers get sticky. Then her fingers stick to everything! She desperately needs something to remove that glue! It's also nice to use on scissors. ✂️ Hope to find this little treasure!

Here's a tip. #9 glue & residue eraser will work on suede shoes, jackets and purses if it's the solid, firm one. Hush Puppy used to make something like this eons ago. Works great.

I love your videos Vivian. You can wash your makeup brushes with any bar soap, shampoo etc and I super agree that to wash something usually requires water!!! And rinsing!!! I love that flashlight!! PS red is great if you are outside and or camping. Doesn't attract bugs and doesn't ruin your night vision. (You can train your eyes to see quite a lot in low light like the moon, nightlight etc if you don't over-rely on a flashlight.) Anyway they make red beam on a lot of fancy camping headlamps. But pray first so you don't summon the devil. 😅 Contact lens cases are amazing for travel. The screwtop ones especially are great for tiny amounts of things like Neosporin, beauty serums, itch cream, Vaseline, can scrape out the last bits of a lipstick! This is a great upcycle for those eos chapstick containers too. They are about the size of a pingpong ball and hold more so you could add to your list, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, overnight amounts of shampoo, conditioner.

Thank you 😊 Oh I’m always “In Search Of”- upcycle ideas , I use the square clear plastic EXTRA gum for storing my coins or you can use to store gift cards or give as gifts and decorate the outside.

I use the Makeup Brush Cleaner with one of those silicone makeup brush scrubbing mitts (also found at DT) and it works well to clean the "innards." I do believe the brushes get clean this way. (The cleaner may have a touch of alcohol in it -- can't quite remember.) Speaking of funny words, I had a doll when I was little that was losing its hair because I dragged it caveman style. One of my Dad's friends would say my doll had "epizooty" (not sure how that is spelled). LOL! For short he'd said "kids got the zooty." When I was little I cried. Today I laugh my ass off! Our family still uses this word. To use the word in a sentence you could say "if you catch fungalitis you can get epizooty." OMG, I just looked the word up and it is a real word! ROFL.

I use the contact lens cases to decant moisturizer, night cream, concealer, foundation and brow pomade for travel. It’s fantastic.

I have two of those glue erasers just because they are super fabulous for smoothing up the edges after applying a little too much wood glue on my tumbling tower block crafts. With the brush cleaner you spray and rub onto a paper towel until clean! The cool thing about them is you can spray, rub and its automatically dry and ready for use instead of having to clean with soap and water and having to let dry overnight! So really only good to switch colors right away 😉

That circular wire picture holder, I hung one next to my calendar & it holds all my papers that I would otherwise have cluttering up my calendar (mail going out, medical paperwork, etc). Just used their multicolor wire clips but those little clothespins are so cute!

Here’s how to use the daily brush cleaner: spray the brush good, wipe the brush back and forth on a towel/paper towel until it is clean, and let it dry. If you do this after every use (starting with a clean brush) , you can keep them relatively clean in between full soap and water washes. That’s really what it’s meant for, IMHO. Not to completely clean a brush you’ve used every day and caked with makeup. It’s also good for cleaning a brush to switch colors.

The Dollar Tree here in Ontario Canada I have seen only a couple things that you have shown in all your videos. Will be driving to Las Vegas in May/June and will be stopping at Dollar Tree stores and a bunch of others that we don't have here. Someone else said what I was going to about the glue remover item. When you remove stickers off items and it's still sticky. I LOVE watching your videos. Thank you for the fun!

Yes, that glue residue eraser is for removing sticky stuff. I use them for clearing my cutting mats that I use for quilting ( little bits of thread get caught in the mats zometimes). The eraser works great.

One way that the erasers are used is while making paper crafts and sometimes you get carried away or get some where you don't want it. One of those things that you never knew that you needed until you get one and wonder how you survived without it. They are amazing!

Eraser is good for when you have to remove a label and then there is a sticky residue left behind. Use the eraser to remove that residue

In the graphic design world before computers, the rubber chunk was known as a Rubber Cement Eraser. It was used to remove excess, gummy rubber cement from the edges of type or photos mounted on art boards.

Those contact lens cases are also great for putting jewelry in if you travel...rings, earrings, etc. I also use them for little screws and things like that that I want to keep.

The gym I go to has lost so many "keys" for the treadmills, you have to go to the office in the back to sign them out. I grabbed a pack of those magnet clips for me and my friends, and we use that treadmill whenever we want lol. I did put a lanyard and clip on them so they still worked as a safety switch. Cutting dies are often glued to the packaging, and if you don't get that residue off, it transfers to your projects, so that's one use for the glue eraser. The main use is for removing excess dry adhesive, like double sided tape, Xyron adhesive, etc. When it says glue, think of the sticky on tape or post it notes, not liquid glue.

I've said innards in reference to the turkeys I bake for Thanksgiving - like we make innards dressing and outards dressng lol - great DT vlog - just wish I could go there, get me a car Viv!!! (I'll take used) LOL I want those flashlights for my grandsons too - Do they have shopping online? (shipping = a fortune?) Check out "wonder clips" for that wire hanging pictures thingy, they're all different colors and shorter.

The little mini clothes pins come with little succulents on them in the office supplies area at Dollar Tree even cuter. I put old handwritten recipe cards for my kitchen

I was able to pick up the picture hanger some time ago when they passed through my store. I've been trying to figure out how I would use it and I like your ideas! But as I was watching you, some thoughts came to mind. Right now DT has some cute little bunnies in pastel colored gingham.🐇 They're pretty flat and could hang by the tiny clothespins. They also have a package of 18 carrots that would be cute too!🥕 There are always decorative items for each occasion! So you could decorate them for every holiday! Your videos are always entertaining and you always give us helpful tips! Sometimes DT has such cute items that you just have to pick up! Then you think about how you would use it and you have some great ideas! Yes innards is common in these parts and there are a lot more sayings like this that we use! Some of them would surprise you and surely make you laugh! 😋 Thanks for sharing another great video and bringing a smile to our faces!🤩

The glue eraser.... I use it when I remove a sticker / price stamp from something and that sticky stuff is still there. You just use the glue eraser to help rub it off. It works for many other things.

Contact lens cases. I use for short trips: suntan lotion, face lotion etc. they can be carried on the airplane. Use your imagination.

Tip for makeup brushes and sponges. Buy a bar of pink Zote soap. Wet your brush with warm water and rub lightly against the bar of soap until it lathers. Rinse. Rub gently on a clean towel or rag. For sponge, pretty much the same thing, but try to gently queeze foundation out of used area.

The glue eraser is really nice. When you're paper crafting and glue seeps out, you can use the eraser to erase it once it's dried. It's an awesome tool to have.

The craft eraser is awesome for cleaning self healing cutting mats. "Sewing" category when using a rotary cutter on a self healing cutting, cleans up the threads and marks on the mat.

Travel hack: I love to use contact lens cases for weekend getaways. I put my face creams or any liquid/cream I only need a little bit of instead of bringing the whole bottle even if it's in the 3.4oz bottles. Easy and small to travel with!

The little clothes pins...I glue one to the cupboard door or the stove hood and pin up my recipe card as I cook. It helps keep the card clean and its always right where you need it.
