Hi everyone, here is a DIY video on how I made these huge marquee numbers. I honestly saved so much money by making these myself because people wanted to charge me $100-200 and in total I only spent about $17-18 dollars!!! I hope you enjoy it and if you do choose to recreate these please send me your recreations so I can share them on my social media. You did an amazing job, very creative, I'm needing the number 20 for me and my baby's renewal next year, so imma get started now, and your idea is definitely a money saver, and especially with the lights, cause I was gonna look into the solar lights myself, but heck would have to plug 🔌 in, so I love your idea 💡, just hoping the weight will hold it all up, I'm order for that to happen, measurements have to almost be perfectly accurate, thank you for sharing your creativity!

Is the LED lights heavy? I’m going to try to make 5 feet Marguee number. Will the LED lights make the foam fall over since I will use a lot of them?

I was searching for marquee light in white and of course with strings, I know dollar tree have this but, I want to have something to keep Later and not replace battery I found the mirror string light with 10 bulbs and perfect for my marquee, since my happy birthday led light are white too And also this mirror light you can adjust the brightness and have 3 settings of light For any other occasion And the led light letter are more yellowish I can

How many boards do you use for each number? Is it one or two typed together to get the size?

I used 2 boards per number, 1 for the number and 1 for the outline of the number

PrincessJonalyn yes I found some and they let me know they re stock each Tuesday lol I for sure have enough for the 0 just need some more for the 7 question when I make the 7 do I add the pieces on the sides and front/top of the 7? Or how do I know how I would boarder the 7? Thank you ❤️

Just curious, how were you able to make this for only $18 if the push lights are a dollar each? Or do they come in n bulk? Im making this for my daughter’s 13 th birthday and I’m trying to budget. Thank you soooo much!

I was gonna comment the same question. She even said each number has 10 led lights and that would be 20 already plus the batteries, foam boards, glue etc. 😄

Exactly my thoughts too. And it's way over $20 because the dollar tree is 1.25 not a dollar. So 4 items will be $5 so just the light individually is almost or about $30

I’m going to have to try these for my baby shower ! Question; would I be able to paint these if I wanted too to match my baby shower theme ?? 👀 I love how these came out I wanna try to make them but , with my babies initials instead of numbers . 💖
