Toothpaste! Best hack I've used to hang stuff... Put a small drop on whatever it is you're gonna hand, press it against the wall where you want it and it leaves little toothpaste dots on the wall and you know exactly where to put the nails ... Works everytime 😊

Hi Vivian, Love your videos. For the chrome nail powder. Here's a hack for you. I saw this in another video. Put Elmer's paper glue around your finger nails, wait until the glue dries and then apply the Chrome nail powder. When you're finished with the top coat, peel the glue off your fingers. Perfect nails every time.

I haven’t been to a dollar tree in over a year! Tried to get some gift bags and balloons and streamers. The front door glass was broken floor had mud literally. I dropped my cc and was disgusted when I had to pick it up! Needless to say, we left what we did find there and got the h_ll out quick. That was my last experience ever! Thanks TX DT

Water pens are great for crafting. You can use them with watercolor pencils by coloring an area then using the water to activate the pigment in the pencils. I also use them when using rubber stamps to color in areas! Hope I can find them at my dollar tree!

Yes, that facial brush will get moldy and never fully dry out. I bought one exactly like that from Lidl (a store like Aldi) and used it for months. It felt great but after several months I noticed sour moldy smell to it. I ended up cutting off all of the bristles and it was black and kinda greenish at the base of the brush. Yuck!

V, 1st Your hair is gorgeous. I love it dark.. The little watercolor pens are for putting in water and using with the type of pen called a Tom Tom it’s a watercolor marker and you use the water pins to blend the colors together. I’m enjoying your videos so much rather than a GF. I’m more like the auntie that gives out advice.❤😂❤

Viv, you look beautiful today. Love your hair down and your top. Another way to keep the spray paint off of your hand/arm is to put a plastic grocery bag on your hand, then put your hand in the container/jar and spray paint it.

Vivian, FYI you should not shake those cans of compressed air! Also you need to not tilt the can either. It causes super cold air to come out of you shake and or tilt it. It says it on the can!

Actually, in response to your question “When was the last time you cleaned your fan?” Well…it had been well over a decade since I’d cleaned it completely, but I’m vertically challenged and my vacuum with the super long attachment broke. So, the fans had built up so much dust…dust matted on top of dust matted into more dust! It was bad! Somewhere in the last week or two I saw the video you did talking about the new dt mop/broom thing with all the different attachments. I got the duster attachment and while it is a tad too small to slide in between the blades but you can bend it…long story short my fans are spotless for the first time in years and it only cost me $2.50! And it’s also great for dusting other high places too. 😮

To sanitize brushes, I put 91 % alcohol in a spray bottle and saturate my nail brushes, hair brushes, tooth brushes. Works on lots of items. After a good soak, I rinse them and good as new!

Could probably paint those shelves to make them look more fancy. And for the stone spray paint, maybe do a base of something else? maybe even acrylic paint and then the stone paint may stick? The water color brushes may also be good for lip gloss, eye creams, foundation...ooh I got some ideas lol. I like your idea for using brushes for food decorating, ooh maybe for certain creams you dont want to touch like icy hot, I'm always worried about touching my eyes or other delicate parts cuz even hours later, even after washing hands, the residue from icy hot is still on your hands.

I got a cute light purple pencil holder (tall bit thin type of thing) and it's perfect for makeup brushes. I also used the little shelves for tweezers and small scissors. It doesn't take much space up.
