Love it!! Last year I hosted Christmas and I had so many dishes and things to clean, that I let all my guest play games and talk etc while I cleaned up. Later I find out that my sister tells my mom how rude it was I didn't sit down with them and should have cleaned later. Little torn on equtiete, I understand where she is coming from... but they never go home and cleaning dishes at 1030pm sure doesn't sound fun. Love to hear how you handle doing all this and being a good host all at same time. Thank you. I love how vibrant the $1 plates look.

Always LOVE these high / low budget videos. My budget is usually somewhere in between the two😁. I’m 56 and have accumulated a lot of the basics by now, but I’m trying to be more imaginative in setting my table. You always give me Beautiful ideas to try to incorporate into my tablescapes. I guess I’d Love to see some middle of the Road settings for people who have some items already, but can’t swing a cool 100 a setting. As always, thanks Keri for all of the Inspiration 😘

Thanks! I am so glad that you enjoyed the video! Girlfriend, I can't swing a "cool $100 a setting" either. I just collect a little bit over time and just make sure that my selections can be mixed and matched. When I put everything together, I just tally up the value so that you all will know how much it would cost if you wanted to replicate. I mostly purchase my items on clearance/sale/antique shops/thrifting. For this tablescape I spent $25 on the four Pier 1 pumpkin plates, that's it I already had everything else. That is the beauty of already having a lot of your basics. You don't need to spend much money to spruce/change things up a bit.

Hi Keri, loved your video. I would love to see a tablescape for a holiday in the 60.00 price range. Perhaps a Christmas tablescape with a centerpiece, plates and glasses along with napkins and silverware for approximately 4 to 6 people. I love seeing how you arrange your table and I think a lot of people could use help especially for the Christmas Season, I know I could. Thank you so much for sharing. Need to focus on gathering me some copper pieces. I purchased the chargers and plates this year from Pier1. Found some small pumpkins at Kroger’s for $4.98 each. Loved my tablescape after it was finished. Loved yours too!!

I would love to see a tablescape for Christmas. I got the red Rachel Ray plates when they were at dt. Just don’t know what else to go with it. I also have white chargers but I love the rustic one dt has. You do amazing at your decorating. Love watching u create and do your magic on a budget

Okay couldn't take a chance on missing out on the Family Dollar plates...found we had a store here in Tucson and hit it up. Success! I love Pier 1 for sure but these little $1.50 plates are perfect for fall causal dinners with teenage boys in the house. :) Absolutely want to join the class and I would like to know where and when you look for the silverware and plate sets on sale to build up a nice butler pantry full of entertaining options. I am also looking forward to hearing your "rules" for hostess gift giving and being a good hostess. I think many of us have an idea but it is always so fun and helpful to hear what others do. Lastly, your table is just fantastic, what fun to sit there for a lovely meal.

You know, I was thinking that the 6 pack of plastic silver napkin rings that Dollar Tree has, might actually look pretty good with your dollar tree place setting version and then the napkin and flatware could be laid out in the same way that you did for your more expensive layout. Very pretty! I would like to see more high end vs Dollar store videos. You have beautiful wedding rings. As a chaplain, the wedding band trumps the engagement ring, therefore goes closest to the heart. Of course this is simply FYI. Wear them anyway you choose. Have a blessed fall!

Thanks! I am glad you liked the video. I am aware of the correct placement of the wedding rings. I get told that all the time. The reason why I wear the engagement ring closest to my heart is because it is too big. If you notice in most of my videos you will see the engagement ring slightly turned to the left because it keeps falling over. I am afraid if I put them on correctly the engagement ring will slide off and then I will be very sad...lol. I do plan on getting it resized, but I am going to wait until I finish my weight loss journey. I have 30 more pounds to go. At that point, I will probably have to get both rings resized :) Thanks for watching.
