I loved my plastic dollhouse very much. I had a neighbor with a Victorian dollhouse that I was more obsessed with than they were. Different scale of course, but I had Molly the American Girl doll, her amazing table and chairs, and the big scene book. Mom still has them for when I have children. My MIL has given me a little bit of Christmas miniature things , I add any ornament that fits the scale. I’ve inherited the retro felt Mr. and Mrs. Claus with a gorgeous red felt reindeer from my husband’s grandmother. I would really love to have another dollhouse but then I’d get nothing else done! Miniatures are fascinating and make me smile. Almost got my niece some Barbie scale non plastic miniatures for this past Christmas, but chickened out and solely got her what she put on her list. She is very into the Chelsea doll and friends and miniature animals. I am looking forward to her getting more into Barbie. Her mother (my older sister) gave me her fantastic Barbie prom dresses, we have them saved as well as my entire Barbie city. (I mean a LOT of Barbies, Kens, etc not town scenery =\) I am inspired to find the original clothing to all the holiday Barbies my grandma gave me. Such special memories of dolls!!

Years ago I bought a terrarium type box to do a garden or greenhouse type room. Still have it. I really need to create the vision I saw for it. My first doll house memory is in fact a room type scene. The Sunshine family, they were crafty, had a little spinning wheel lol, heavy 70's vibe for that one. Your room looks lovely, you can create so much for these little rooms. TFS

If you had some magnets you probably could put it on the outside an attach your shelf or picture frames out of another magnet so it can be removable.

I have the metal litho house that you are referring to, for $10 in yardsale, they are lovely. I love the wall paper in your roombox! Wow the sheet were inexpensive, I bought at Michael's like that and it was expensive. How much shipping did they charge you? We have so much of this in common, like you know I love to create and make things like these. Love the rich colored rug, blends in with the walls and that tv is amazing. So cute, I love it. I wish I had thought about making my own box. I ordered me a box house we'll call it from amazon it has all the furniture pieces and everything with it I just have to glue it together. I figured I would try this and then decide about doing my dollhouse I had as a child. I think I still have the furniture that came with the dollhouse but I would like to make wooden furniture to go in it, I need to get it out and see about the furniture. I've been watching a lady named Julie I can't remember her last name and she makes all her furniture herself, I would like to attempt that, so we'll see. I love watching you and the dollhouse's.
