My muse is on vacation, and it shows🤣 Welcome all new and existing subscribers and visitors! My name is Dot and I usually upload videos on Wednesdays between 9am and 9pm Pacific Time. Dot I love whistle bye ,it’s just so much fun looking around at your lovely little treasures . I love all the stories and characters . You know I love those cheeky ladies ,Gertrude she’s a hoot. You know she going to turn into a mermaid soon😂😂😂😂😂. I love that you’ve incorporated a part of the community with the infirmary in your house. the green kitchen is precious but,I agree you need some bigger pieces for all those folks. Poor little mamma she’s probably been lugging water back and forth from the infirmary to the kitchen🪣🪣🪣 . Thank goodness she’s a strong lady . I know she will appreciate plumbing 🤣🤣🤣💕💕💕💕Always enjoy watching you play. Thank you Dot made my day💕💕💕

Grace🤗 I really am laughing out loud, picturing Little Mama lugging water pails (she is a rather strapping lass!) and Gertrude morphing into a mermaid. Hello Dot, I enjoyed the catch up with Whistle By house, the infirmary is looking great, Gertrude must have skin like a prune with the amount of time she spends in the bath 😅. I'm sure your muse will reappear, we all have creative blocks from time to time. Love the bloopers 😅, I regularly drop things or knock them over, you are not alone 😊. Have a lovely rest of the week. Hi Vicky🥰 Me too! Red and green are my favorites! Especially in a kitchen and especially the 1930s-1950s. The green Strombecker pieces are a little ssmall but I don't really want to change them.😍✨

I enjoyed the tour and seeing how the whole house looks and getting to know the entire family. Your dollshouse has so much character!! And your dolls are definitely characters! 😆 I knock things down all the time! I did get tired of it and start gluing or fixing things down, but it's nice to be able to change things around. ❤

Oh my, if I had been filming I could have done at least 60 min of knocking over, plus knocking over the camera..and not being able to get up (easily) off the floor😂😂😂. Then I kept seeing dirt and fuzz on everything! So embarrassing 😖🥰✨

Your infirmary reminded me of a long ago memory. When I got my tonsils removed in 1960 (yikes!!) I was in a children’s ward just like this with maybe 10 beds. No semi-private & private rooms like today’s hospitals.

There are still places like that! They don't do anything as intense as removing tonsils in the infirmary. It's more for band aids and ice packs. LOL. Not a realistic sort of place given the year, but who cares?! LOL! 😘🥳✨

Enjoyed this very much. I think your muse must be on holiday with my muse! I have the same cherry tea set that you have int the kitchen. 😊. You have done such wonders with this house and have a great storyline and imagination. Thank you for sharing. Loved it!

Haha😂 Oh Lorraine, why must the muses go when they know we have so much to do! I think the cherry tea set is too cute! I think it was good to film the house so I can see more objectively the things I want to fix/change. Too bad there's so many of them. 🤣. I think I might take a break from Whistle By and focus on my little Triang. I understand your dilemmas with your Lines house. I would like to "restore" to some degree but don't have the skills or access to the pieces (original papers etc) which might be necessary to do so. I want to enjoy and play with my houses, not create museum pieces. But I feel judged..even by myself😂😂😂. 😘

@@thedollcupboard Haha, you echoed my sentiments exactly in your last couple of sentences. I think that is the problem with joining groups that are very much into proper restoration/keeping the house as authentic as possible, especially when they have way more experience than me! I want the play aspect too, particularly with Grandpa’s Folly which had already been um, heavily played with altered in the past. I do very much wish I hadn’t started trying to do the frontage. I just don’t have the skills or equipment necessary to do it justice. I should have just left it like it was. Hopefully we will find our muses!

Realy love it! Glad to see that there are others like me who newer glue down a dawn thing... ha ha The reason is that i nwer realy feel i am finaly done with anything there, i always find something new i want to incorporate or change in my dollshous, pretty much as in the full scale house i live in, that's half of the fun hawing a dollshouse in my opinion! I am however a bit jelous of those who can decide whan something is done on their dollshouse... It's just not as i am... Ha ha!

What is the paper with the flowers above the sink? It looks like it could be a window with blinds. Very pretty & I love that flooring in the kitchen & infirmary too. Reminds me of old style linoleum.

Hi Cathy🤗 OMgosh that is an EXCELLENT idea! 😍 Love, love, love. It's edging from some vintage 1940s/50s shelf paper I have. I think I got the flooring paper from minimum world. I can't quite remember but I bought all they had. There's some tears in it, but hopefully hidden by everything. 🥰✨
