Dolph deserves so much more. He’s so talented. In ring skill, the selling, technicality, he’s good on the mic, charismatic, he’s the spitting image of a professional wrestler. To believe he never had any type of WWE championship run is ridiculous.

Dude. I HATED ZIGGLER but now I’m older honestly he’s one off the nest in ring and on mic as a vet. I just feel he came in at the wrong time. If he was in year 5 instead of 15 that dude would’ve had 2+ runs by now

In all fairness, Vince clearly had some foresight by avoiding tying him to his father and uncle. Scotty is a loose cannon and Rick has gotten himself into hot water over the last few days (assuming those allegations are true) so not having the name actually is to his benefit right now.

@@TheShadowBrigade Scott and Rick are grown men and entitled to their own opinions: Brett Hart has been a bitter old man after his career and that still hasn't tarnished his legacy because you have Teddy Hart etc. etc. Carrying on the ringname You're going to tell me Bron Steiner wouldn't work? Because one of his uncles said something? Hulk Hogan hated black people at one point and it still didn't tarnish his in ring legacy in the slightest bit. I'm willing to bet that with a name like David Benoit would still get a pop because the right fans will choose to remember the right history. Don't come here trying to prove a point based on one persons unproven political stances or what they may or may not have said
@TheShadowBrigade
@TheShadowBrigade Жыл бұрын
@@rustlerv6549 There is a big difference between Bret Hart being bitter about shit that happened to him in his career and Rick Steiner going off on an unprovoked transphobic rant. Also using Teddy Hart as an example is really not helping your case. Hogan is a rare example where it was forgiven. The reason for that is because he was their biggest star, arguably, ever. Even then, they cut all ties with him for a while until he had sufficiently apologized and kissed enough ass to get back in their good graces. There's no way that David Benoit would ever get signed to WWE using that name. Why? Because it would bring back memories of what his father did. It has nothing to do with a supposed pop... It has to do with decorum. Why would you want to remind people that this man's father killed his step mother and brother before killing himself? Better yet... That he had done all of this while signed to your company & about to win a World Championship? Some of y'all really need to touch grass and get in touch with reality.

@@TheShadowBrigade just cause it’s his last name doesn’t mean he’s tied to those beliefs. Stop this narrative. Regardless I doubt anyone or sponsor it’s protesting the kid because of something his dad said. Hardly anyone knows as is. Not like the Benoit situation where it was national news. Also it’s ironic a dweeb like you is telling someone touch grass. Name is shadow brigade like you probably never talked to a girl or went outside for more than hour 😂

As much as I hated him during his run with Mrs Vicky "Annoying Screaming Voice" Guerrero... back then I actually always thought he would have become one of the greatest superstars ever. Wait, Ziggler *SAVED* the Survivor Series in the Authority Era? Are you referring to 2014 when Sting made his WWE debut? If so, you couldn’t be any more wrong about “stealing the show.” Ziggler was put on the back burner for that one while Cena, Triple H and Sting all took the limelight. Sting brought the house down that night with his debut. Sting stole the show that night, no one else even came close. Ziggler was just a prop to make the pin…nothing more.
