Josh headed to Miami to go dolphin fishing with the famous L&H sport fisher accompanied by Bullbuster. We started off the day trolling for mahi along offshore weedlines. After catching several fish, including two skipjack tunas the crew of the L&H set their eyes on bird watching. We travelled up and down the coast of Miami looking for any birds actively feeding along the weedline. There were dolphin everywhere! Capt Jimmy would spot the dolphin and we would pitch baits to them. This is by far one of the most exciting styles of saltwater fishing! After catching our limit of mahi, we moved to the deep wrecks to look for big amberjacks. To our surprise an 11lb mutton snapper inhaled the live blue runner! In total we caught over 100 dolphin, 2 skipjack tunas, 1 blackfin tuna and a stud mutton snapper. It was an incredible day of fishing!

You guys are so lucky. I love fishing but I live other part of the world and don't have enough money to go for deep sea fishing, but have enough to keep an internet connection at home to watch people like you fishing and have a dream that I will do it someday. Blessings :)

People don't be upset that they keep the mahi mahi. These fish are the fastest growing fish in the ocean. One female can release 50,000 eggs everytime they spawn which is every two to three days at an age of 4 months old!

why do people who obviously don't agree with fishing concepts, come on fishing videos to cry about harvesting and eating fish? i don't understand. and who cares if you're a vegetarian. do people go on your gourmet hummus videos and cry about the mass killing of baby chick peas? i doubt it.

+HeartlandRanchTV The mate gaffing them needs some practice, he cut through the fillet almost every time. It's like he wasn't even aiming. And I agree about the dumbass anti-fishing hippies!

4reelFishing Yeah, you'll get no arguments from me about his poor gaffing skills. I guess if they're just gonna toss them on the grill at home they don't really care.
@4reelfishing273
@4reelfishing273 8 жыл бұрын
HeartlandRanchTV Yeah, you could just eat it at home like that but the gaff shot causes blood to spread and can taint the good meat. When we gaff fish we always aim for the head, even if that means the fish could break off. The gaff job if almost as important as fighting the fish.
