I love Dom. She is a strong female character. I love how she cares about her family and education and still doesn't come off as arrogant like Joey or insufferable like Leila.

Dom made Joey feel like she was a racist, kept giving her dirty looks' throwing shade, made her feel like it was completely her fault that Dom's friends got suspended from school etc. All these things count as Dom coming at her honestly. As well as others calling her slut and all that.

Dom kinda was coming at her, she made Joey feel like she was a racist after that wallet incident and after her trying too hard to not be seen as a racist. Dom was even saying to John how it offended her to see her kneeling during the national anthem before the basketball game. Not saying that Dom didn't have the right to be upset at Joey and question her outlook on black people cus she absolutely did. The thing is that Joey didn't mean for that and couldn't really be convincing in how things are set up with the racial thing. You can come at someone and still have every right to.

Joey does have a problem being a performative activist. she won’t call out her friends when they make racist/homophobic things, she laughed. so of course Dom had a problem when she saw her kneeling. I love Joey and Dom, and i know there was some tension between the two from the first episode. and i don’t blame Joey for getting confrontational, she had a lot of shit going on; but so did Dom. Dom wasn’t even thinking about Joey. so none of this was either of their faults, it was George’s and Tim’s for doing what they did to Joey to even get her into such an emotional state

Do you mean Tim? First off it was Tim’s fault at first. He was upset that Joey was playing with him and doing things that hurt him. She had kissed her friends in front of him and he was upset at her for doing that, in front of him. Not saying she deserved it, but its not Tim’s fault. When she was in the taxi on both of her other friends she was doing that to hurt Tim, so he was tired of it and just started listening to his music and was on drugs also I think. Which means he didn’t hear Joey ask for help. He was thinking she was doing it consensually and was trying to hurt him. She also tried to get him to go to jail for doing nothing. So he was upset at her thinking she was crazy for doing all of that. But Tim did come forward and say that he agrees with her, and that they should take accountability for their actions. He isn’t like the other two ones who raped her and were racist. He is completely different. Tim isn’t the bad guy, he was just wrong for not coming to his senses earlier.

I stopped at the second episode, In my own opinion, I just greatly dislike the show now, I just couldn’t get through what it was trying to convey, now that doesn’t mean I’ll dislike anyone else if they do enjoy the show, it’s fine, it’s just my opinion, don’t let it sway your thoughts :)

Dom was not treating her bad for nothing. I have a feeling you didn’t get the message in the show. Joe is a white woman which comes with privileges, and in the beginning Joey did not understand the weight of her words. Even though her heart was in the right place it created an unnecessary situation where a black person was punished more than he should have.Then tried to make up for it through performative activism. Whether or not she was jealous that’s up for interpretation but u can not watch the show and say she was angry for nothing.

Dom was not "rude to her every chance she got” because there are times within the show where she was actually concerned for joey and and when she was rude it was because of joey’s performative ally ship. Also just because joey was going through stuff does not mean she can’t weaponise her privilege which she did (unintentionally) and she deserved to be called out for it.
