it’s crazy how much joeys story relates to mine. before her assault, she was outgoing, and constantly hung around people, mentally stable, etc. After wards, she completely fell apart. she developed trichotillomania (the hair pulling disorder in the show), depression, and probably anxiety as well (even though trich is an anxiety/OCD disorder). The same thing happened to me, like the exact same thing as Joey’s (my “assult” wasn’t as severe as Joey’s but it still made me feel like how she did in the show). When I spoke up, nobody believed me. They all sided with the guy who did it. So to everyone out there with a story similar or different to Joey’s, I’m so sorry and just know you’re doing great

I'm proud of you. I was sexually assaulted too when I was even younger than Joey. It really aftects people physically and mentally. I fortunatelly had support just like Joey but I didn't report it because I though that maybe was too late. ☹️
