When do you know you're a pro bowler? When you get your finger literally stuck in the ball, lose total control of the ball and still pick up the spare. That's when you know you're a pro.

i’m 14; and whenever i go to bowling, i always aim for the lightest weighing ball possible, but the thing is it’s meant for smaller kids so it’s annoying how i can’t carry it correctly because my fingers usually get stuck in the holes of the ball. my arms are literally so thin, lol

Same thing happened to me but the ball didn't come off my hand. Also I tore my rotator cuff, and dislocated my shoulder, and had an AC separation.

This is completely understandable and has happened to me with excessively tacky urethane slugs. I find that vinyl ones stick to my thumb better but do not drag or stick at release especially during the summer months when my thumb swells. On the other hand idiots that do this with a 6 pound ball because they are drunk have no place in a bowling alley whatsoever.

Did this two weeks ago with a newly drilled ball... Afterwards the Proshop employee refused to widen my thumb out for me cause he didn't want me gripping with it. So I adapted, don't put my whole thumb in and it seems to work. Bowled a 637 series the next week averaging 213.

I did this once and the ball went 2 lanes next to the one I was bowling on😂😂

Imagine calling yourself a proponent of the sport by actively condemning a technique that removes barriers to entry... You cannot say you support the future of this sport and say that two-handed bowling is ruining the sport. These two claims are at-odds with each other. Also, while I'm up here on this soapbox... scoring sucks. Imagine creating a scoring system where the score of the current frame is dependent on the outcome of future frame(s). How does the game end? It can't! So then we have to use an entirely different scoring system for the last frame of the game just to end the stupid hamster-wheel. 3 strikes in a row?! Wow! That's amazing! Too bad it was in the 10th frame, making it worth between 1/2 and 1/3 of the same outside of the 10th frame. No wonder the olympic committee wont let us become an olympic sport. Imagine if other sports worked this way... golf? Sure yeah, you just shot three consecutive birdies, so we're gonna say your first birdie was actually an albatross, your second birdy was an eagle, and your third birdy depends on how you do on the next two holes. Sound ridiculous? That's exactly how the scoring system of bowling is. Ridiculous.
