Domestic Terminal to Rental Car Center using the SkyTrain - ATL Airport

Travelers arriving at Atlanta’s Hartfield Jackson Airport frequently choose to rent vehicles upon their arrival. Other than taxis, ride shares, and a less than robust MARTA public transit system, obtaining a rental car is the only practical way to independently get anywhere in the metro Atlanta area.
This video shows the process of getting from domestic baggage claim to the Rental Car Center using the SkyTrain.

This December will be my first time ATL and renting a car by myself thank you for this! I feel a lot better now about directing through the airport to rental.

I'll be in the same boat as @jarredmahoney. I Def feel more comfortable seeing this. When you get to the car rental, do they tell you where to go to pick up the car obvi? Like is the car below the building or something? And as far as dropping it off, obviously same building and back track and take skytrain back to airport for flights.

Thank you, thank you, thank you - for your recommendation of checking out other videos. This is so helpful. I'll be getting a car rental.. so now feeling comfortable with the sky train and knowing I can't get lost..I will be navigating this airport with confidence. I did receive an email and it noted the return bridge is currently under construction so I would have to go to the second level via elevator or stairs to access the Sky Train to return to the terminal. I'm sure everything will be ok , your video and tips were very helpful.

Awesome detail on how to get from atlanta airport to car rental easily. My fears are gone. The only fear is thrifty car rental had the most people in line and that is who I use.

It mostly depends on when you arrive as to how crowded the lines are for the various providers. From my experience it seems that mid day is always the busiest at the car rental center.

Great video! We have a flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam therefore we have to return our car at the car rental. And then go to the terminal for international flights. Can you describe what route you need to take?

This video kind help me ,I'm head to Atlanta this July, so is sky train underground or is on the fourth floor, so does stop at any car rentals, or stop at one stop,please explain thank you

The sky train is elevated. The final stop is where ALL of the airport’s rental car providers are located.

@@johnliu8953 yes. There are only 3 stops - #1 the terminal, #2 the conference center and conference center hotels, and #3 the car rental center

From the international terminal at ATL there is a shuttle bus that takes you to the rental car center. I do have an unlisted video showing me walking from international baggage claim to where the shuttle picks you up at - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e9CIjdelupeogY0.html
