I've been watching CGB's arena vids since pandemic (I'm sure that's said a lot!), and I never really saw him play paper much until recently. I like his paper videos far better. He's such a smooth player. Just watching him can make someone better at the game, and the way he explains every play on his channel gives such insight to how a player should think when they take actions every turn. In paper, when he announces every trigger and response so cleanly, it just feels so good. Although I am not new to magic, I typically stay away from competitive scenes, and his videos make me want to be a better player myself, while teaching the right way to conduct yourself at a table. Great video. Keep it up.

When I first say Soul of Windgrace, I didn’t see how the deck was gonna work, it seemed a little weak to me. Boy was I wrong, if built right the commander is gas! Great job Blake

Congrats Blake! I pulled a Soul of Windgrace on my 1st ever Pre-Release event and knew I wanted to use it as my 1st Commander. It was awesome to see you play it today and gave me some great ideas for my future deck.

I built an Elas Il-Kor deck myself. The worst thing I can do takes 4 cards, I've only ever had 3/4 out at once. But here's the combo; Elas on the field. Anointed Procession on the field. Teysa Karlov on the field. Equip Blade of Selves to Elas. Elas swings. Myriad triggers on the swing. 4 tokens are created instead of just 2. Each one being a copy of Elas sees the other 3 ETB, Elas sees all 4 and I gain 16 life. MYriad tokens are not non-legendary so they immediately die to the legend rule. Teysa doubles the death triggers, everyone else takes 32 damage. On the swing!

Congratulations, Blake!! 🎊 I thought this was going to be CGB's game for sure but I think all of the board wipes set him back too far but Blake proved a "lands matter" deck can recover from almost anything! Sidenote- I found Shea's various sound effects this game quite amusing!!

I need to talk about the crossover episode with CGB and Blake.. I think the other two guys were from the stack.. I love how the stack guys were like "let's play a fun game" and the CovertGoCrew we're like "just so you know. The only time I'm having fun is when I'm winning." 😂 (Strangely enough, that's a Tim Tebow quote).. Btw, congrats on the win Blake!

Great episode! Wish we could have seen the two aristocrat decks pop off a little, but seeing the lands deck ramp into some bonkers stuff so early was fun too!! One idea for a future episode theme could be Commanders who are Uncommon Rarity to see what kind of cool decks you guys could build~

Sorry I'm late full day but was not going to miss this and WOW this is a crazy match my favorite part is Ben chomping on CGB arm and Ben overloading did not see that coming even the hissing lol and yay Shea keep it up with the zombies I enjoy when you use zombies hopefully next time it take off and cool deck CGB wish I got to see more of it in action and gg Blake never seen such lands prowess and so fast with the ramp something I do enjoy having more mana than everyone but is able to use it for big plays I enjoyed every second of the video and I stayed till the end even through commercial for more support and I can't wait to see what everyone does next and please never forget everyone you're cool 😎🤟🏾❤️

If you have eon hub and glacial chasm you can basically be immortal (not being able to take damage you can still lose life). My friend Eli found this combo and made a mono black deck out of it. I was surprised to see glacial chasm in this game.

So good, your videos are so funny. I love the play between you all. Pauper Commander is too very funny, or play only with uncommons and commons that have never been a Rare Reprint (Secret lair etc). Trust me: You will see many cards in a different way and the gameplay is much fun. Try it, you will be not disappointed.

32:44 Minor thing, but you guys forgot a Konrad trigger there when Braids, Arisen Nightmare left the graveyard - Syr Konrad, the Grim triggers in both directions.

Actually Syr Konrad only triggers on it's controller's side for that one particular mode. A bit weird because it's all graveyards for death/mill but only the controller's for when stuff leaves.

The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Fuck and Suck".
