I think he was joking. The last aired Capcom Pro Talk had Mike just pitching the stick and walking off after throwing his wallet. It wasn't his first walk off. If you were his boss what would you do with that? The sad thing is it didn't just cost him *his* job. Then Capcom handed it to the community manager and the WSO guys.

I've seen the episode. Somehow you've been convinced that because of his actions he was fired, along with others, from Twitch for walking out on his job. They uploaded the episode on schedule on their official site and KZfaq channel. When they talk about Mike getting fired in this episode of EA they're obviously joking.

Regardless if he was joking or not, it definitely seems like there was a dispute or hard feelings between twitch and mike. Like, if he didn't get fired, which he most likely didn't, doesn't mean twitch made efforts to make him quit. It happens all the time in business. When a company doesn't like an employee but because of various situations can't fire them, so they just make their job so unpleasant that the employee decides to leave.

Yeah, it's quite funny to look back to that and it was really annoying as well. When he was losing it was always "Come see me in 5, bitch!", just because he had somewhat of a good start when no one else was playing. Not hearing any of that anymore.. I can understand how it's draining to create content for a game that isn't super exciting, but it's not as bad as they make it seem IMO. Not sure why they always keep playing poor connections though, even with Bo3 mindset, as it never makes for good games. These episodes with Punk and Smug have been very nice so far. Good guests really are needed.

The hate for SFV is overblown, IMO. Sure people legit don't like it, and the game does have issues. But this far in, it feels like more people are just bandwagon haters, rather than truly hating it. The game is improving, really slowly, but improving. And with a Super version on the horizon, big changes are coming. Which will bring in new life too the game. As it stands now, I personally enjoy it, and many do also. It's Street Fighter after all, it's immortal and got many into fighting games.

@Rattmaster86 I agree. I think SFV as it is now is miles better than SFIV in its dying days. Unfortunately, making unfinished games and releasing them seems to be an "acceptable" standard nowadays. We will see what happens after Super rolls out.

Releasing the game unfinished I think is what most consumers hate about SFV. Plus the DLC practice. As for the gameplay, I think people enjoy it just fine. It's very accessible to everybody. But it's that same gameplay that high level and pro players seem to have an issue with as the game lacks complex mechanics. So I can see where people are coming from with their issues with the game. But that aside, SFV is a solid playing and good looking fighter. For long time fans, and new fans getting into fighting games. SFV is the way to go. Games like Tekken 7, Guilt Gear, and Unjustice 2, are not kind to beginners. And in general don't appeal to the masses like Street Fighter. Once SFV gets arcade mode (which is coming) for offline players. A SUPER update, with more classic characters and V systems. I think the bitter feelings will dissipate.
