Hi, I am A #MortalKombat player mostly. But whenever there is a good story game or multiplayer game I will record or stream it! I think the Quan Chi buffs are a great reason why listening to the fanbase in terms of nerfs and buffs can be a really bad idea. All the proposed resolutions were "just give him better frame data and he'll be great". Well, they gave him way better zoning strengths and buffed his always intended gameplan and now he can be both strong and what NRS wants for him as a character in this game. The armor was an implementation I wouldnt have expected, but love. The bone cage getting a simple increase to the time its active does so much, same for the green portal. They really need to pay attention to how Quan Chi is used in these Kombat League and content creator tournaments because he will MOP THE FLOOR with you if you let him. Its what Quan Chi should be. Awesome gameplay bro

Quan chi is really excelling, roethor is so far the best quan chi ive seen and i want to get to his level. I can see they did buff him much differently than the average buff though and after some playing i can say that my opinion on the past two videos saying hes low tier is false. He is easily A tier now, but my opinion on how he is F tier in the corner still stands, i cant ever D1 into green portal when they poke me to death 😿 (skill issue for me tbh)

@@PassMeADonut yeah the corner stuff sucks but I think his tools and gameplan are, at least for right now, in a good enough place to carry us to another patch where that corner game could change. He benefits from sensory overload tbh. You're being bombarded by purple skulls, you jump over to them into a bone cage, you can be caught by his drop-stomp, and if you get close to him for a second he can just push you back with his green portal. Sensory overload, having to keep track of all the crazy shit he's doing etc. if you can consistently keep all of these tools out, the opponent can easily slip on all of them

After seeing/playing him more i would have to agree UNTIL youre in the corner, thats where he turns straight to F tier if they abuse ur frames imo. (Maybe im just trash)
