I'm back at another scramble at Bicester Heritage - but this time, I've brought Dan with me! We take a look at the array of vehicles on show, and find out about the important work of the Heritage Skills Academy...

Apprentiships are an amazing resource. BNFL instrument mechanic at 16, always loved a lathe and mill. the porsche 928 has the curves that dio it for me.

Wonderful video and some realy nice shots there. Bicester Heritage seems to be the place to go to. If I only have lived in Brittain that is... I hope I can bring my old Aston over there some day in a near future and join you nice people at some event liike this. Cheers from Sweden!!

Can we have a complete day at Bicester please Dom, so interesting. I want one of everything but the green Maser has always been one of my "lusting after" motors. I can see why you like the Lotus, lots of Ranalah work involved!!! Great work being done by the Bicester Heritage team👍🏻👍🏻

Great to see old school craftsmanship being taught and passed down to a new generation. That Lotus is fantastic as are the Gen 1 289 Mustangs Fastbacks and The 350 SS Camaro. As for me one of the GT 40’s would do very nice. But that 356 you drooled on was sweet as were the 911 GT3 (2)’s. Fact is I wouldn’t kick anyone of them out of my garage, but I wouldn’t have a house or garage in order to own one.

Until I saw your previous Scramble video I didn't know about it - suffice to say we were there last week, a great day out, fantastic cars and a real sense of history and nostalgia . . . and we saw a bloke with a beard wandering around :-)

Thanks Dan, not your average car shots and editing. I think my favourite is the Triumph with the 'fried egg' bonnet Dom, for all the posh cars you looked at there was such a huge sigh when you saw the Landy and a regretful 'sold mine . . ' .

Don't worry Dom, you'll have no problems fitting yourself into a classic Mini, I'm 6'6" and have done a number of classic rallies in them, their surprisingly roomy for such a small car, way more room than in a midget 😁. Next time you're at a show, just blah your way into one and you'll see what I mean 👍

Fun show you went to! I owned a 1973 Mustang in high school, not having power steering or brakes was a little rough sometimes, but it was a pretty yellow.

What a wonderful place to be! And run by people that have the right attitude to bring young people into the real motor car world, although quite how your camera man can see anything but bling in those awful American things he likes is quite beyond my comprehension, an excellent video, many thanks for giving us this inside view! I really REALLY must visit Bicester Heritage. Dom I am with you regarding sellers regret, in my case a 1966 Mustang ex drag race car, it's replacement a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and last my 850 Mk3 Norton Commando.

Hi Dom, I have a 1972 Land Rover 109 2.6 Safari for sale, needs refurbishment although I did a partial refurbishment in 2004. Would love to see you or some of the heritage boys bring her back to glory. Let me know if you're interested. Great episode as usual.

Am I the only one who now watches these videos to see if anyone other than Dom is wearing jeans with cuffs? Is this just a Dom thing? It would come in handy with all the students I know building robots... I am sure the cuffs catch bits and bolts that they drop when working on their robots. Dom, is this a fashion thing? It hasn't arrived yet in Canada if it is.

I typically roll my pants up as well, but that’s because I have short legs and I don’t feel like hemming all of my jeans. 😂 It’s also just an old school 50’s feel when done right.
